After pushing hard for 4 weeks we ran into a snag. We had pulled the engine apatt and discovered the bores on cyl 34 were corroded due to some water infiltration.
So I grabbed my old 85 turbo block and sent it out for a bore hone and wash. Block is back. ..has been painted and all holes chased with a tap. Reassembly to begin soon following a clearance check on crank bearings.
