Hi all!
On Saturday, me and my son will make our debut as rally drivers, in a Saab of course. But not the most common model though… We will be driving a 1987 Saab 90 in the standard class, wich means no modifications to engine or gearbox.

It is located in Lima, 200-250km from where I live, and the event is called "LBC-ruschen". Judging by comments on facebook made by some of the competitors the conditions were great, perfect winter rally. Some difference in noise comparing the blue 16v 99 to the following white 8v 99 btw......

It seems it was the water pump that broke down. Don't know which impeller he is using.

No sight of the 16v 99 today...

This is not confirmed in any way, but it seems Jocke Nilsson has had some heat related problems with the engine today. Hope he is still in the race.

I just shared a video on the Facebook group "Saab sport & rally" of Jocke Nilssons 16v 99. I think it´s his girlfriend who filmed him doing some testruns. She has a couple more videos on her profile.
