Re: Euro sytle trailer hitch
Visually, that hitch is identical to the one that I have, and fits the receiver in the first post.

Re: Finish for aluminum - hard coat Type III anodize
Both of us had some parts that did not make the grade. Snap shot of Kevin's image.png Bummer as I was looking forward to doing this to more covers. image.jpeg It is rather pale compared to the cps hub with the correct thickness. I'd still rock that. Maybe it looks worse in person, but that photo do...

What part is this? Your valve cover? Or one of Kevin's parts?
I was thinking about doing the valve cover for my engine...

I have the same hitch on my 900. I'll go snag photos of it shortly... It is a really nice hitch!

Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
I see that you've got it fitting directly to the turbo. How are you planning to seal the connection to the turbo? I realize it doesn't have to be a perfect seal, but limiting the unfiltered air pre-turbo is always good.

Per our message the other day: since the bronze is just acting as a bushing, the cracking doesn't matter...Have you decided to just leave it then?

Re: Rally Car 16V NA Engine Build
That header looks very much at home when it is in the car. Looked a bit wild when it was out in the open. What size id are the primaries? Any size step up partly down the length? Kinda make sense on the MAP load sensor, but my buddy's big block is na and he uses a map sensor only. He is running an ...

Re: Rally Car 16V NA Engine Build
You will also need a 2.1 block in order to fit the 94mm pistons. Given that there aren't any blocks at 94mm from stock, any block you choose will require a bore job... I've got both to choose from, and I'll likely use my B202 gray block since it is the prettiest. Scanwest has bored 202 b...

Re: Rally Car 16V NA Engine Build
I'm so excited to hear about the 2RZ rods! My machinist suggested the same thing, as a matter of happy coincidence since he had a set on the bench when I was there a while back. We never made it past the general arm-waving phase of seeing that they were nearly the same, so I'm glad to see he was rig...

Re: Spring Rates
I somehow missed this thread when it was new seven years ago (!), but I want to protest the listed rates for the OMP springs. I've been running them on my DD for a few years now, and they aren't really that much stiffer than SPG springs. I'll have to check the measurements sometime when I'm under th...
