I would definitely do "modern" brakes and suspension while retaining the 8v engine. Looking forward to seeing this thing progress.

Finally getting some progress on the little 96. I disassembled the recently "rebuilt" engine that came with the car, and found it had actually been gone through. The overspray on everything had me thinking "spray paint rebuild". Glad I was wrong.

This happened locally, and amazingly, the driver survived. It looks to be a 99 9-3.The news said he hit a truck head on, then the car was thrown on train tracks where it was then hit by a train. I hope the poor guy pulls through.
