Re: Ulrika - in dolomite sand

Ahoy! Project Ulrika surfaces for another effort. I've carted the whole project to the last frontier, end of the road, aka Homer Alaska. Current status is running on T5! Ok effort #1- I would say it's just about time to put these SPG panels in place. Any chance somebody has some install instructions...

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

Yep, I can confirm that's a great drive, especially now that peak tourist season is fading. 1 day to go! Somebody should roll the dice... Edit: yep I'm also in Alaska (just fixed my profile too). Thus my drooling over this one. It's the first 900 that's caught my eye in 2 years up here. :-O

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

Somebody gave it some love, it might even run. :) for Alaska that's doubly surprising!

Re: Wanted: T5 help

A year and a half (?!?!?) down the road, I figured I'd drop in an update. After an even longer mothballed slumber, things got critical. Now or never. The house sold, and we packed up and started relocating to Alaska. I blew up a 9-5 piston in the middle of BC towing my boat. Oops. That one hurt. I t...

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

Thanks, Crazyswede. It's a nice example for the year- not a single ding or scratch or bit of rust to speak of. I finally had a shopper last night who offered 600 bucks. That barely covers the cost of the new tires. Sad to see the market here in Oregon decide an old 900 is nearly worthless. :(

This one's mine, looking for a new home. Lots of good, a few glitches. :)

Re: New Rally Wagon

It should be a five speed, but I haven't actually paid attention enough to know for sure. I haven't showed you the crunched rear passenger door/wheel arch, which is why it was under 2k. Cosmetic stuff. It was too much car to pass up at that price. ;)

Re: New Rally Wagon

Yeah, I'm even OK with going from a manual to an auto. Not my first choice, but the utility of the car makes up for it. I'm loving how the rear seat can split and fold down only one side. I haul a lot of crap around and that makes a difference. Plus this is a seriously low profile sleeper, just a so...

Re: New Rally Wagon

I guess this is the new plan? I'm selling the 9-3, and I just picked up an 02 aero wagon myself here. It really is unbelievably smooth/easy to drive. And the trunk, it goes on and on... All and all it's getting two thumbs up so far. Now I need some spring spacers, because this thing WILL be in the s...

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

Too expensive, but potentially interesting. If it weren't for the rust spots it would be much better.

Re: Wanted: T5 help

Did you have to do any welding on the car itself, or were you able to build adapter rails? If I thought it could be done without welding, it would help in terms of putting the interior together somewhat. Thanks for that offer Jon! :yay: I am trying to sort out holiday plans now to figure out if I'll...

Re: Wanted: T5 help

That would be awesome Dennis! It's one of the remaining hurdles. Trickier is my seat install as I have a set of Viggen seats to mount. That's what I would love some advice on. I cut a complete set of seat mounting rails out of a late model 900 when I was going to install Aero seats. This Viggen patt...
