Re: Mini battery?

Would be interested in something like this in my 85. Still keep it in the engine bay, just be smaller and lighter. For a 3 season car that never gets driven in the winter what do you all suppose would be the minimum CCA you'd be comfortable with?

Is there something special/rare about these lights? Not trying to be a dink, but just curious. Can't you get brand new e-code sealed beams for less than $100 for the pair?

Subscribed! My 85 is screaming for new seats. This could be a pretty cool opportunity. Definitely curious to hear more as you start researching. The cord would be interesting...

Re: Best "performance" clutch for a C-900?

My 85 uses a stock c900 flywheel that Dave Kennedy did for me. It's just drilled for the 9k bolt pattern, he resurfaced it and lightened it to even out for the larger mass of the 9k clutch. You can drop the 9k flywheel in, but your timing marks will be off by 30 degrees (to some people that matters,...

Re: Best "performance" clutch for a C-900?

Have you considered a mid year (91-93) 9000 turbo/aero clutch? I just put one in my 85 as a preemptive measure for hopefully upping the power a good bit in the near future. The clamping surface is much larger than the stock 900 clutch and many people say that it's good to hold over 300 ft/lb. Clutch...

Re: C900 Rotting Wiring Loom - Advice Needed

In my experience it's mostly just the wiring under the hood and exposed to the high temps that suffers from the faulty insulation. I haven't found any issues with any of the wiring elsewhere in the car. It should be said I haven't done a ton of digging around other than the engine bay either... Fort...

woah those are VERY red! The 2nd picture they look pretty close to original. The other 2 not so much. Did they fade at all over time? Might be a little bright for my taste

Red leather interior you say??? What kind of shape are the fronts in? Mine are a bit rough and while I like the driven/patina look, I could be interested in replacing them.

Re: CPS Sensor gap - what SHOULD it be with the flywheel kit

I will be tuning with Mike D once he returns from SOC out West, but was just curious for my own sanity in the meantime just how far off it could be.
