Re: 99 Turbo Homologation Papers
Hi All To anyone who has a set of FIA Homogation papers for the 99 Turbo, can you please check to see which of the 4 body styles (2dr, 3dr, 4dr, 5dr) are listed. This may sound like a dumb question at it is obvious that Saab competed with the 2dr and 3dr bodyshells, however 99 turbo's appear to be ...

Re: Serious question

It is a full factory rally engine and transmission from Stig Blomqvist's 77 99ems. It is rated at 220hp and was brought here as a spare when he competed. It nev...

Re: Factory LSD & Power steering
I'll trade you my Phantom Grip for your factory LSD  http://phantomgrip.com/ It actually worked OK for me. I know others have had other experiences but my car is low powered. I think you'd be OK with it without PS. But I was thinking the same thing as Luke, see if you can't fit a RHD 900 PS ra...

Re: Trans upgrading/modifing
info for the non crush spacer is id. 33.77mm. od 43.00mm length 19.20mm. you can make them from mild steel or even alloy i supose. this length should set the preload on the bearings perfectly, i have also had made up pinion housings in stainless aircraft grade steel, they don't bend, flex or even she...

Re: Motorsport quality front engine mount-99
I run the 5 mount front.. after plateing the front member with 1/4 inch both along the top and down the back, it has to be flat along the top to mount the two outer mounts, mine was also cracked before fixing. It does not jump out of gear on any sort of conditions :yay: would be interested to see ho...

Re: Rally Tyres and wheel alignment--Type and settings
Thanks for your reply Geoff. Yes i think that they are to hard as well as having a 4x4 pattern!! The 85r dunlops are softer but still the same pattern i think. Michelins are sold here as BF goodrich, i'm not sure if they are the same as yours though. I have heard that the silverstone tyres are not t...
