1991 Yellow Vert in State College, Pa
Hi, I went and looked at this car I found on CL. Owner is asking $2500 and it has 210K on the speedometer. Has a bad ring and pinion and the top needs a "rod" to operate properly, but other than that it is in really good shape. I did no hear it run. I was gung ho to buy it and get ready or...

Re: Metal vs. Plastic heater valve
I used a new ScanTec plastic valve. However I found the mating surface around the o rings was not flat so I corrected it on my belt sander. 2 years later still sealed up.

Re: WTB - TE05 water outlet pipe assembly
New would be great if EEuro can get a set.
I would take a greasy one as well. I can lean it up.
Would hate to just put a piece of hose in there.

Re: My name is Jeff and I am a long time SAAB addict....

Not normal my self, wife either we are 53 and 50 respectively and grace is not how I would describe o...

Say What?
I am going to fab in a FMIC with out cutting tow hooks and a fairly short tube run.
Will require mods to the radiator support, and I already did the AC delete.
Bought turbo from DeLorean... Thanks Jeff

Re: TE05 wanted for a T3 replacement
I can fabricate some, the car has Trionic 5.2 and I redid the entire wire harness (its an 85) What I want is a bit more torque down low so when i step on the gas in a corner to correct I don't have to downshift. Thinking the TE05 with new seals and perhaps a rebuild and a FMIC plus a bit of T5 tunin...

Any way I look at it i need to reseal, even if I keep the T3
Wonder if there are any turbos from modern cars that would fit our antiques?

Took a long ride and snapped this pic. Stance is better with new springs.
