Saab 9000 Build - Boot Cut Issue - Help Please

Not sure if I am posting this in the right place...I have a 1997 Saab 9000 Aero. This car has been extensively rebuilt and modified over the last several years, and last year received a Maptun stage 3 chip upgrade. I have had a the car for four years now and have always had boost cut issues - even b...

Re: 900 Whaletail Spoiler - $750 Shipped

Am also guilty as charged Hutch. I fell in love with Saabs in 1985 when I was ten years old. I lived in Luxembourg at the time (although we are American), and my father's colleague had a silver Saab 900 T16S with red interior including dash (what later would become the SPG). For me, this was the coo...

Re: 900 Whaletail Spoiler - $750 Shipped

The pricing was spot on given current market conditions (at least for Europe). Was seriously tempted myself, but the shipping to Europe where I live would be too much of a hassle. These whaletails are well sought after, and this one was in better condition than most are which are for sale at the mom...

Re: 60Kmi '78 99 Turbo project, Shelby Goldvanes, 99T Euro s

Hello! Do you still have the headlight washer arms? Would this something you would be willing to sell separately? These are missing off of my 1978 99 Turbo and have been looking for these for a while!

Thanks!

Re: 1978 Proposed Turbo Stripes

Phenomenal. Thanks so much for sharing. I also love the first two pics. Especially on a black car! I have a cardinal red 99 Turbo and seems to me that the design they ended up going with was the best after all!

Re: Another RadioFlyer 1980 c900T

Hope most importantly you found a place to live for you and your family! Am so sorry to hear Sam. But you (above I believe everyone else I know of in the world) have been incredibly successful in scoring intersting Saabs at good prices, so I doubt this will be the last one in your fleet! I hope the ...

Re: Need Help With 99 Turbo Fuel System

Thanks to the both of you for your replies to the above. I ended up going through the whole fuel system. Turns out that the fue injector head was full of rusty metal bits, the injectors were shot and the spark plugs were all very dirty/coroded.... Also the warm-up regulator was not working. The main...

Re: C900 SPG Purchase - Possible Fiasco

Lastly, I had the conundrum as to what radio to install. The car came with a niwish CD player that stuck out like a sore thumb. I really wanted something period. I sourced some original Saab Clarion units, but most of the good ones are in the US (where there are different radio frequencies than in t...

Re: C900 SPG Purchase - Possible Fiasco

Been a while since I have posted. The body work other than the doors was largely completed early December. Since then we have been restoring parts and collecting new parts attached a few pics. All suspension and break components have been either sand blasted and powder coated, or acid washed and zin...

Need Help With 99 Turbo Fuel System

Hello Everyone, I would need help with my 1978 99 Turbo, and thought I would turn here for ideas. My car has been completely rebuilt and all parts which could be replaced have been. The one part of this car which has been its achiles heel is its fuel system. The car used to have the steel tank in it...

Re: 78 Turbo Refresh

What a fantstic thread. Thanks so much. I have your sister car here in Budapest. Exactly the same but with Euro style headlights and the turbo sticker down the side. I hear what you say about all the turbo decals already on the car, but believe me that the silver version on cardinal red really makes...

Am drooling over the roof rack on this C900. Wonder what type this is? Anyone see this before?

Re: C900 SPG Purchase - Possible Fiasco

Thanks Crazy Swede. Agree fully that what is important is that the bits be solid and not beautiful. That said, I appreciated the fact that my indy is doing this in a pretty way as well. Most cuts were on the panel seems as from the factory, which is great. Geoff - very good point. Will speak with th...

Good Progress made

I went to my indy again this last Wednesday to check up on progress and deliver some of the needed parts I am collecting for the car. I felt much better after having seen the car again - all body work has been largely done. Now they are applying rust converter to needed areas, and will begin smoothi...
