Where to bend ?

Ive set the front suspension to 2 degrees negative with Zero toe and an as yet unknown caster positive is all I know for sure until I get the car to an allignment guy .Now for the rear axle ; I intend running 2 degrees negative there as well and am wondering if a single bend in the middle is okay? Re: C900 Cooling System Upgrades

I dont have the second fan , I dont have a heater and then I expect things to stay cool when the turbo is peaking at 25 lbs !and its the old brass type ! He he. Just watch that gauge and flick on the fan switch before any WOT stuff.

Re: hill climb 900 spg, duck tail or leave it off?

Yes .Ive still got the old brass radiator too and with the t3 peaking at 25lbs things get a little warm. Seems okay for short runs but I cant imagine it holding up on something like Pikes peak!. Ha ha. The fan is manually switched .

Installed IC sprayer with a little tank that lasts just over 1.5 minutes. Dremeled some fuel line to get a nice bunch of holes in a loop .

Re: hill climb 900 spg, duck tail or leave it off?

Yeah. Weighs next to nothing . Mind you it will provide next to nothing in protection if I wrap the car round a strainer post after backing off mid corner ! Going to upsize the duct hoses one day .Cant see them being much use except on track days.

Re: 2.1L Head with 91mm pistons and Which cams, head gasket?

Im sure this has been discussed ad nauseum but isnt the t5 head a little better than the 2.1 due to its smoother pent roof design ?

Re: hill climb 900 spg, duck tail or leave it off?

Some photos of said vehicle . Im guessing it weighs a bit under 1000 kg now It certainly sits up on the springs which are shortened spgs. Once the cage is in it should sit down a little better . Just did 9000 brake conversion and added ducts to the corner of the lights .

Im amazed my 85 car was still running with wiriing that looked that good ! Mind you it wasnt running that well and one day the brake fluid level sender caught fire ! Since then Ive replaced pretty much every wire in the engine bay .

Re: 1987 900S Track Car

Cool project . What have you done for the hood connections ? I saved a little more weight by ditching the interior door handles and attaching cables across instead.

I glued the duck tail back on using Carbond 940fc . It looks much more complete with it Id have to say.

Re: Hello from Newzealand

Yes , No option really could'nt find flat front h4 lights anywhere those little round ones where $17 the pair and easy to get . Keeps it looking kind of road legal for those sneaky test sessions !
