Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

Any more progress? I still have a B motor D-Jet intake manifold that would allow you to run a more modern fuel injection setup if you were so inclined. I also have a weber intake manifold that would allow you to switch to throttle bodies.

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

I have a large hoard of mostly C900 stuff, but other things mixed in that need to go to new homes - https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/pts/d/glendora-many-vintage-saab-parts-for/7618344459.html I also still have the hood molds that Kevin Yankton made for C900's - they are too large and heavy to ...

Re: Wheel and Tire Options

205 series tires on shelbys will work but tend to balloon out quite a bit because they really should be on a wider rim.

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

I think this was the PDF I followed way back when:

I wasnt running the controller so I still ran a thermostat...but i think i had to drill a small hole in it so it always had some coolant circulating

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

It's mounted right at the radiator outlet. Nearly the highest point in the system. I'll get a picture when it stops snowing. as i recall I mounted mine down near the lower radiator hose. I don't think I have any pictures and that poor car is out in the world beyond my contact. I saw an ad for it a ...

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

When I put the electric water pump in my old 99 I also ran a thermostat. The pump just ran nonstop and there was a small hole in the T stat I had to add so there was always a small amount of flow. The T stat would open and i seconds the temp would drop down. Definitely didn't keep climbing. It certa...

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

Replaced the Pertronix yesterday and it fired right up. Idles high, about 1800. The IAC is disconnected and the connection is cut off, so maybe the IAC isn't closing. The electric water pump is in a poor location and the car wants to overheat quickly. I'm suspecting it may have a bad head. If so, I...

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

Just noticed its missing some required bars in the cage. Hard to believe it was built that long ago but the rules now require a bar that runs from the top of the windshield down to the front corner of the door opening. It does add a lot of strength but getting in and out is a bit harder.
