PA Junkyard Run?

Hey its been a little while since we did anything like this so I figured since its (hopefully) gonna be turning into fall soon I'd see if anyone wants to meet up to hit some junkyards one of these weekends. I don't really have a list of things needed, nor have I been to anywhere recently to know wha...

Re: Free/Cheap Saab Parts

Cool send me a PM when you know your schedule, if it turns out to be a pain to meet up I certainly don't mind shipping, but since a lot of that stuff is bulky it may be easier to just drive somewhere since we're so close.

Re: Free/Cheap Saab Parts

Looks like I had it backwards, I think I have the turbo->intercooler but am missing the top half of the intercooler->TB. It may have been the stock IC pipe just turned down? I have this spare pipe from a previous IC setup you could probably make work, though its tapped for a T5 IAT you'd want to blo...

Re: Free/Cheap Saab Parts

I have 3/4 of the pipes, I'll snap a pic when I get a chance, I think I'm missing the upper half if the turbo->intercooler pipe but I don't entirely remember how it was set up.

Re: Rebuilding/ resealing a c900 steering rack. DIYable?

I've never attempted it so take it with my usual truckload of salt... however my guess is its probably not terribly physically demanding but may take doing a few times to get perfect, which is a pain given how difficult it is to remove the rack with the engine still in the car. I'd be real tempted t...

2001 9-3 Viggen $3000

Hey I know there isn't a lot of love for the later Saabs on here but figured I'd offer this up here first before I try other routes... Long story short after daily driving this for the past 50k miles I decided to get a low(er) mileage 9-5 to commute with and wanted to offer it up here before a fix a...

Re: 90 Talladega SPG

Well I successfully installed the crappy washer solution to mount the rear shock, I didn't take any pictures but imagine a large washer on either side of the sheet metal ;) They were actually the washers from the shocks on my 9-3 so I can pretend they are a Saab repair. Its very much a lazy fix but ...

Re: Adding OBD Connector

Very valid points, and I certainly agree the T5suite is a little more powerful with what all you can monitor in real-time, but its sort of nice just to be able to pop on the reader and see whats going on. Not to mention it costs about $5 a piece, though I'll bet wiring it to the harness thats alread...

Adding OBD Connector

I think I have asked this question before but wanted to double check before I go ahead and order them... I want to add OBD ports for my T5 900's and was going to run to the junkyard and grab them but realized I may not get around to that for a while and since the whole idea behind OBDII is that they...

Re: 90 Talladega SPG

Looks like a perfect place for the vinyl. Up front and center. Thanks for sporting the brand. Is this the second car? Is the custom Downpipe on another 900? Happy to support the brand  Though I did quickly realize all the Squaab parts are on the other car  CPS kit and downpipe are on...

Re: 90 Talladega SPG

Another brief update.... First the bad news, as I think I can now see in the pic above ( o_O ), the drivers rear shock mount hole seemed to turn into dust when I removed the stock shocks so now its too large for the Bilsteins and it pushed through. I have some large washers I'm going to see if I can...

Re: Free/Cheap Saab Parts

Ok I swear I'll stop spamming this forum with my garbage  But here are some pics of the battery relocation kit if anyone is interested, I never loved it in a DD but I never had an issue with it so it would be fine for a race car... The battery box is held in place with a little bracket and stra...

Re: Free/Cheap Saab Parts

Alright one more bump, I think most of this stuff is off to its new homes, feel free to make me an offer on the intercoolers as I'll certainly accept if it outweighs the time it takes to ship them  I don't have any pics but I have an '86 900 n/a trans, no clue on the condition, but if you ...
