t5 boost control issue
hey guys have a really strange problem that I cannot for the life of me work out. - this is on my c900 t5.5 8vT. I updated the software on my t5 ecu to OBD2, its a 16MHz bin and a 16mhz ecu - I did this because adaption is way better with OBD2 and t5 has the ability to adapt fuel and ignition timing...

Re: redline for the stock 8v 900 heads
Sorry I designated 2.3 cos I am used to people getting confused between early 9k head same as on 2.1 c900 and trionic head. I realise t5 head is easiest way to designate lol. Yeah I was asking about my stock 8v head. But I'm going to go to t5 head. Think a fried has a spare I might buy or trade. Won...

Re: redline for the stock 8v 900 heads
thanks jordan
in reality I think if the 8v head came off the money would be spent on going to a 2.3 head
but I wanted to know. the 8v head really produces a different car, 16vs are very smooth in comparison .. the 8v feels a bit raw

Re: S&R Gearset
na nkro the early 5 spd 900 before 1989 uses a 20x28x20, the 89 and later 5 speed 900 uses a saab only INA part that is NLA I forgot you are talking about 4spds. so the early 4spd uses 20x26x20 and the DOGset uses 20x28x20 good to know the dogset uses a regular obtainable bearing simplybearing does ...

Re: Koni Red Adjustable Settings
Well a softer setting has more positive rebound damping, a firmer setting less. generally softer on the front and firmer on the rear will provide good road holding for a front wheel drive car. in reality the koni adjustability always used to be there to compensate for wear - the koni manuals used to...

Re: T5 crank position wheel adaptor kit
sorry to resurrect
luke did putting the trigger wheel behind the crank pulley work fine?
I wonder if this worked why more people haven't gone this route?
it looks like a good way of keeping A/C other than flywheel...

Re: new c900 caliper pistons available
I have centric parts. Brake booster and clutch master. Excellent quality for price have lasted 3 years. I'm gonna get a set of spare calipers and of the pistons are bad ill buy new ones. So cheap. With seal kits you end up with new brakes. Plus rebuilding them myself allows me to pay attention to lu...
