1987 Saab 8V NA 900 - just needs a gearbox - SOLD !!!!!

Beautiful blood red 1987 8V NA Saab - one major issue and one minor (cosmetic) issue - major issue is that the gearbox (5SPD) is knackered - pinion is shot to heck - minor is a cracked dashboard (what 23 year old Saab doesn't suffer from that??) - kills me to sell her. The good - full ownership hist...

Re: Saab 99 for sale

you still have the 99? I just had a beloved 900 8V NA croak on me - would be more than happy to part with 2500 for a 99 with a T16 under the hood and a rebuilt fuse (gearbox) - how's the interior on the 99? Feel free to drop me an email at drstevehorn@yahoo.com

Cheers

Steve

Re: Shelbys wanted (4 or 5)

Oh, I should mention, this is the Anthracite U pull it, not the "D's" U pull it, which lists as Scranton, but is really closer to Carbondale. The Anthracite U pull it is in the city proper. Thanks for the clarification - D's has an advert along I80 - haven't gotten there yet (damn "h...

Re: Shelbys wanted (4 or 5)

There is currently a set at the U-pull it yard in Scranton, on an 81 900-T, gold with 1/2 the paint missing. If you plan on refinishing them, no problem. Wheels are cheap there, you'd probably get the set for under $100. http://www.junkyarding.com Cheers! Looks like I'm taking a little drive up 81 ...

Shelbys wanted (4 or 5)

Looking for a set of shelbys for my '87 900 (bull-nose - same lug pattern as a 99) - condition somewhat important (it's not a show car, but she is a euro-spec red 900 - at least I'd like 'em straight) - finish doesn't matter (getting them powder coated) - I can pick up in a reasonable radius of Abbo...

you want to weld the seams - between the spots - alternate sides so you don't warp the panels (I know it really doesn't matter for floors - but it's a good practice to get into for when you end up doing rocker panels and such).

Free 1985 Saab 900

Ok - 1985 Saab 900 8V 5spd - black exterior (not the greatest paint job in the world) - tan cloth interior (pretty good condition) alloys (manhole covers) - decent tires (70% tread depth) - rebuilt front calipers, fresh pads all around, 2 year old exhaust system - PA inspected through November. The ...

Any idea what it would cost to ship 'em to PA?? Failing that - do you have an approximate weight for one wheel? Given that I can figure out the costs - thanks - Steve

Shelby's wanted

Looking for four (4) shelby's for my '85 900 - prefer them to be somewhat round and not to resemble a taco in profile. I live in PA and would be more than happy to take a reasonable road trip to see / pick up what you've got.
