Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread
Went to PnP today (Newark, CA) and ran across this '86 Notch along with two rather nice 90/91 Vert 5 speeds. Notch body is straight, no rust and paint/interior is pretty good. Even a cool spoiler on the boot. How could someone trash such a cool car? Makes me want to start a project... I was there F...

Re: Hastig- Ulrika's long lost twin
Awesome!!! I'm about to hit 150k. BTW, I finally got my car tuned . The 2.1 head I got from you is working well. The car has more power than it ever has before. The quaife gets a bit of use. I do kick mself for not getting taht manual rack from you though! Here's to another 250k for Hastig! :...

Re: Shock question
The Konis are fine and quite well suited for the street and autoX etc. They are definitely not up to prolonged rough rally use. The first few rallies I used Konis simply because its what I had, at the end of long rough stages the car would be hard to control over rough sections, it would bounce lik...

Re: T5 Flywheels
That price is reasonable for sure! Those flat rate shipping boxes are convenient aren't they. I'm in for one, as soon as I get a job :o) As far as heat goes, I don't know how much heat is generated by the actuation/slipping of the clutch in a rally stage, but it may be enough. Combine this with heat...

Makes sense. I thought I was looking at clouds reflecting off the hood. You are right, it needs to be damn near perfect for that price.

Re: RadioFlyer's 1980 900T
Yeah that's pretty nuts. I had one in my '90 SPG replaced a couple years ago and it was the same thing - blue windshield with bronze windows. Really messed up the look. Most places seem to go with blue or green glass now stock from what I've seen with the blue sun strip on top. I called technaglass...

Re: Hydraulic Handbrake questions
What about adding some compliance to the system? Then you would not have to exactly match the stroke lengths. There are a number of ways to add a spring to provide enough force o compress the fluid & enough travel for the bleeding of the system. Please expand, I'm not sure I'm following.... Why...

It really is a monster. I haven't been in a big block Shelby Cobra, but I expect it's a very similar sensation.
Holy smokes (literally) Drew. Great work.

I can't believe this hasn't sold yet. $2k for a runner that is actually a cool car? New tires and everything works too.

... a "perfect" talle red SPG. How much of a dick would you be for crashing possibly the lowest mileage talle red in existance? I guess I should have not driven mine. 2004, I was sitting at work, car-less at the time when a buddy comes up to me and says, "A friend of mine is selling ...

Re: Shifter bushings, what's needed for my 88 900???
... You put the shifter in 3rd gear and put a pin through the alignment holes on the shifter housing. Then you go under the car and tighten down the shift coupler... In case you missed it. Also, the step between the two sentences is to extend the gear selection shaft coming out of the transmission....

Re: Single turbo'd LS2 swapped into a Z3
I hope there's a budget for body work.... it won't take long for this thing to get stuffed into somewhere that is not a roadway.... How much does aerodynamics really matter when you are pushing 500+ Hp? :dunno: Wheelbase too short for top speed runs anyway. I'm impressed Drew. I didn't think the en...
