4 speed transmission shift forks

Hello, been a minute since I posed on here. I have a question about a 4 speed I am putting in a circle track car. Trans is a chain drive 4 speed, with the steel pinion housing. I am not rebuilding, just disassembled to check functionality before installing in the car. I noticed the “finger” on the s...

Re: T5 dyno tuning needed

Jordan did the current tune I have and it's been flawless. Of course, might t5 be intelligent enough to compensate somewhat? My motor build isn't radical. More compression, b204 head, and cam timing so far... I'm going to dyno regardless. And I'd love to have someone smarter than me have some input ...

T5 dyno tuning needed

Anyone fluent in t5 willing to live tune my n/a race car in a couple months? Car is up and running on t5, but I am building an engine and I am not sure how well t5 will compensate for this. Chassis dyno I use is in northwest Massachusetts. Will pay for your time, I'll be renting the dyno for a few h...

Re: 4spd 31:30 tensioner shoe needed asap

since this post is a month old and the rally sprint is tomorrow, I am hoping you found a solution by now... but if you haven't, I have used a tensioner from a non-31/30 gearset and shimmed the drive side slide with washers so it bottoms out when the chain is straight. been in there a while, no adver...

Re: parting out '93 900s convertible

a pillar trim is there and looks good. small tear on drivers side where the upper push pin goes in, but the pin would probably cover it if it were present. sunvisors are there, passenger side appears to have some corrosion around the mirror. convertible top latches are there and work fine. I don't s...

Re: t5 missfire problems

while I don't really want to admit it, I think I found my problem.

crank pulley bolt is loose. which obviously causes CPS issues with a crank pulley mounted CPS. why it only surfaced when hot, i'm not sure. coincidence maybe.

Re: parting out '93 900s convertible

I think I have a spare 2.1 TB. as long as I have at least one more ill sell the one on the car. ive got a couple 2.1 fuel rails/ regulators, so I could sell those no problem. I can check on the condition of the rest as soon as I'm both here, and it's light out. what's the benefit of the 2.1 fuel rai...

parting out '93 900s convertible

2.1 5 speed car. dark blue (I think, its covered in dust). just retrieved it from a barn. owner said they drove it there, but it's been sitting 9 years. crusty underneath. not bad on top. top itself is junk. interior is very dirty from sitting. I intend on pulling the engine/ trans and squishing the...

Re: t5 missfire problems

sorry I should have specified. zero boost, N/A car. haven't changed the plugs, but they looked ok. ill thow a set in anyways, but like Jordan suggested I am thinking hardware issue due to it being temp related. I did try unplugging the IAT. I am not sure what T5 defaults to in that case, but there w...

t5 missfire problems

I have been having some issues with one of my t5 converted race cars. it has not always been like this since I converted it, ran a few races with no problems. once the car gets hot, it has a lack of power/ misfire under high load/ high rpm that appears suddenly and progressively gets worse. I wired ...

car is a rot-box, but the cage is safe and I feel good about putting her in it. she races 400hp modifieds normally, so she isn't exactly a newbie ;)
