Re: Setting up a pair of Weber DCOE 45s on a cross ram manif

The June 1972 one I have printed from the net says: "Included in the carburetor kits are modification specifications. For dual caburetor installations it is important that the carburetors are synchronized and the linkage is straight and in order. No play in the linkage is allowed." Somebod...

Setting up a pair of Weber DCOE 45s on a cross ram manifold.

I have been browsing the Saab V4 pages and have a start of a thought, but I may be hitting some of that English US/English UK pot holes. I want to set up a pair of 45s on a bored out 1700cc engine. I'm not looking for a dyno warrior just a strong running V4. One of the members suggests using: 36mm c...

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

I tracked a nice replica of the 76 rally sweden car and the asking price converted to about 30k. No idea if it was sold at that but it hasn't come back up since.

Let me know if you find a source for the dizzy rebuild kit.

Also I put an ecu out of an 88 SPG in my 85 and it loves the fuel mappings. Thanks Delorean!

Re: PA Winter Junkyard Meet

I found little things at the first 2 yards, mainly saab dealer license plates. I collect them now since one day there wont be any left. I picked up some good feeling signal and washer stalks for the 9-3. Also at allentown found a not broken center consol for a 9-3. Usually as in mine the back tab th...

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread

Neat idea, not so tidy packaging. Hot rodder Rick Dobberton built an amphibious rv that used an old milk tanker as the main body. Then you can use the tank as the living area. Starting with a submarine, and putting wheels on it , makes for a better concept than adding floats to an existing vehicle....

Will do,

My thought was to drill first then paint. I was hopping to not have to drill thru nice paint.

Mounting hole diameter for Bosch Rallye 180 Knick.

So, if I were to drill a hole in a metal bumber of a SAAb 96 to mount a pair, what would the diamter need to be?

And to center it nicely in the center of each side of the grill where should that hole go?
