Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

Just noticed its missing some required bars in the cage. Hard to believe it was built that long ago but the rules now require a bar that runs from the top of the windshield down to the front corner of the door opening. It does add a lot of strength but getting in and out is a bit harder.

MSS now?

I know Jack from MSS died a couple of years ago but I am wondering what happened to all of Jack's information and parts? Does anyone know if it was collected or sold to someone? Besides any parts Jack might have had he had a massive library of notes on pertaining to Saab tuning and experiments over ...

Re: C900 gearbox girdle

Sounds good. Also, happy to look over the pics once you get it sorted...may be able to make some suggestions where manufacture could be simplified and cut costs.

When you get it proven out please consider a price for purchase if a few of us might be interested.

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

Looks pretty good still. I know you mentioned some rust but I'd say it was a win. Also good to see that car get saved and back into some form of circulation. Luckily you and Deb are pretty much average height and size....this means there are 100's of seats that will work and plenty in the $400 - $10...

Cool...looking forward to seeing it again. Do you know any of its history over the years it went off the grid?

Re: Wanted: 99/900 Rear Brake Caliper Adapters

I have at least one set I kept for myself. I might have a second set over at Jon Williams. I am sure we could have more made up...actually Jordan don't you have a CNC now? Jon has a mill and a lathe....its all just time and materials

Re: '77 99 GL 5DR

I had a 78 5 door a number of years ago...I sold it back in 2008 or so. Every once in a while I see a posting about it....the last time I saw it I felt extra bad that I sold it because it had clearly been so badly neglected and was in horrible condition. It was still running the shelby wheels and sp...

Re: Mike White and Geoff Clark at NEFR 2021

Here is the Dirt Fish coverage which is basically the "National" level coverage attempting to sell the WRC idea. There is some really impressive drone footage though which is fun to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPXm4Q3oLAQ there are more videos on youtube and I am sure more will ...

Mike White and Geoff Clark at NEFR 2021

Sounds like Mike and Geoff had a good run in Maine this year. Mike apparently put some suspension improvements into effect and the car did much better handling wise. a few clips https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSybwcc4Jz8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQkbmH0jQHM 1977 Escort getting after it: http...

Re: Lagertha, 85 SPG Sport Touring

Might I suggest going with a T5 head in place of the 2.1 head and build a large diameter and radius down pipe off the turbo into a high flo cat or eliminate the cat.
