Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
Dennis, no wonder you have not broken anything yet, with only .7 bar boost !! Just wait to feel the kick at 1 bar +. Car sounds nice and I can feel the power just waiting to come alive just by watching the video. I just took "RED" out for a spin around the block to get myself rejuven...

A core 78-up 4 speed gearbox.
Anyone out there have a more or less complete core gearbox 4 speed 78- chain drive. I have this sport and rally gear set and now I should start thinking about putting it together. I have a unit from Delorean that he donated for use for our Lemons car, but now the SAAB MAAB team is in disarray and I ...

Re: FS c900 downpipe w/ ext wastegate and midpipe
Hutch , what I was trying to say is buy the GT3071R that Dennis will sell and then also buy his down pipe and waste gate setup. Then you will have all the power you could want. I have tested the limits of TE-05 units and they are fine for quickish spooling up and a nice power band, BUT they run out ...

Re: FS c900 downpipe w/ ext wastegate and midpipe
Hutch your TE-05 has a T-3 bolt pattern. when I got my Gt28, I just specified a T-3 Housing and the rest was history. Looks like Dennis's setup is bolted to a stock 16 Exhaust manifold.
So buy the turbo and the waste gate setup and learn to fly, on the streets that is !!

Re: 86 900 Notch back / ex Jack Stahl, Hutch, Paulh,Delorean
Geoff, they are Bassett light weight steel NASCAR style wheels. they are 8 X 15 inch about 16-17 lbs and they can be had in several back spacings. I have I/4 inch spacers in front to clear 9000 rotors and calipers. I would have to look for my order invoices , but they were a special order that took ...

Re: 86 900 Notch back / ex Jack Stahl, Hutch, Paulh,Delorean
Thanks for posting those shots. That was the first time using those 8 inch wheels and the soft slicks. Did not get to scuff them up much and I did a quick 180 degree spin and stayed on the road all at the first turn. Took me almost all of the first day to get comfortable with them. Lessons learned!

Re: Gearbox girdle
Ok guys, I have a Garrett GT 28RS BB on my hill climb car that I can and do drive on the street. It acts totally tame and puppy like, but when you give it some throttle and RPM it gets really quick. I really think you can use that turbo on the street. It is worth the money and time it takes to make ...

Re: House Renovation 2016
I've seen some of the photos of your place on face book . I build my home mostly alone during 1977-1979. I worked 4 ten hour days in a repair shop and spent 3 days straight working on the house. I was 30 years old at the time. Almost made me crazy after 2 years and I was still finishing details 20 y...

Re: Best Location for IAT Sensor
Hutch, I like the sensor on the intercooler pipe before the TB. I'll make up the weld on bung for you once you decide on IC pipe sizes. The bung should be radiused to make a nice weld up fit. Don't buy the taps either, I have them and I am fairly close to your location.

HE could. But by the looks of that engine compartment, Space for hoses is tight. Better to just sweat! It will go so fast that there will plenty air flow.

Re: Wanted: c900 Exhaust Support Bracket
The later brackets that SAAB used had 2 sets of mounting holes marked Auto / stick or 5 speed. I know they work either way. So grab all you can find. All these little parts are getting harder and harder to find. I have built several cars up from bare shells and converted many automatic cars to 5 spe...

Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
I guess the A/C system will be gone for evermore? I can't wait to here you take on power and lag and so on. Are you going to dyno the car for some fine tuning ? The quality of your work is really raising the bar on projects on this forum. I'll soon be ashamed to open the hood on my cars. Pleas keep ...

Re: T5 Wiring Harness Help
The wire gauges are certainly heavy enough. 10 GA for the power in and out and 16GA for the oils is plenty heavy. Do the relays come with the harness and what is their rating?

Re: Gripper LSD brand new.
Speaking of Gripper LSD's . does anyone have a source for the large Bellville washer that cracked into pieces on those units? I was thinking that Luke had done some searching on those items? We may be using a gripper in our Lemons car.
