Re: Greetings from Vermont
Greetings from New Hampshire! https://youtu.be/_7ozYD3VMAc Its good to see another C900 nut in the area! I always smile and point when I see a C900 on the road these days. My wife and I drive (carpool) 90 miles a day round trip so driving a 22+ year old car every day just isn't practical for us. Fu...

Re: 78 Turbo Refresh
I have the same on my SPG actually, and so far have noticed no significant abnormal tire wear, and HAVE put a lot of miles on it. I do know toe being out will really eat through tires at an alarming rate, however typically it eats through them quickly, not so abnormally on an edge (as shown in the p...

Re: 78 Turbo Refresh
2 degrees negative camber, someone did a "performance alignment" on that car at some point. I would have kept that, but between that and the toe, that's why you tore through the tires on the highway.

Re: 78 Turbo Refresh
Wow, that alignment was way off there! Did you get a print-out of the before & after measurements? In both my 99's, I have that fan fuse by-passed, and a conventional blade fuse in it's place. I tested the fan draw, and it was in specification. Even after cleaning and re-tightening the ceramic f...

Gotta watch out for the pedestrians! Wipe out one of those on a public road, while hooning, and it's bad news... As Bob Sinclair used to say "I try to do dangerous things as safely as possible"

Re: BMR rallyX pics
though the front tires have odd wear around the stud holes, like they were trying real hard to tear themselves out, The studs are all still there on mine (or I should say Jeff Shores) studded tires, but they show the exact same damage to the tread, like they were really taking some abuse. This was ...

Re: BMR rallyX pics
Yep, and this time I got beat by every single one of them, in my own cars! I had 2 fairy good timed runs (even including my penalty cones!) but I BOMBED big time on a few runs, got stuck, and missed a gate, so I had no chance on the averages. 25th place for me. Was still a fun time! I did not notice...

Last few rallyX's the PA Saab vigilantes have been showing up to. Re: Not mine/not affiliated : '82 c900 sedan in TX
Neat car, not many 82 900-S's around anymore... Shame it has the pop-riveted on side moldings, an those non-lit headlight bezels are going to be tough to find. I an remember a time when the junk yards were littered with those cars. No longer. Although I like the 8 valve cars as a novelty, I'll be st...

Re: 93' Road Racer Build
Well, I can say this... You can now get fans that are about 1/2 as thick as the original Bosch or AC-Delco fans that move ore air. If you do space the turbo out from the manifold and start getting fan interference, that much is easily correctable, and for much cheaper than OEM fans. As for adding be...

Calipers, I can grab you a pair of those, there is a 97 and a 95 CSE at my local yards with easy to access calipers. There is also an 88 900-t I can grab the upper column from, and potentially the brake components. Have you had an ABS related failure? Quite likely you could fix it! Converting one mi...

Re: Wanted: Passenger side rear control arm bracket for 78
I was just looking at this. The rear ones you can remove whole (fairly sure), the front ones if the studs are indeed just pressed in, you could probably just loosen em up, then smack em with an air-hammer - like you are knocking out a wheel stud, then remove the studs, and the pate separately from t...
