INCAs on ebay (not mine)

Looks like a good deal .. $75 is the opening bid, no reserve .. shipping in the USA is about $40.

Re: Windshield Removal Tips?

I'll order the WLS-848 as well then. I'm really close to popping out the windows, so hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Its the last thing I want to do before the plastic media blasters.

Re: Windshield Removal Tips?

I just got a couple of samples from Restoration Specialties today. The locking strip number WLS416 definitely looks good for the wind screen. I don't think its the correct size for the rear window (hatch back). For the two tear drop doors I'll need to get something even narrower. Once I figure out w...

Re: Model 90 left rear door

Wow .. so what do I have then? On the invoice it says its a model 90 LR door. The pad is exactly like the one in my '77 99, ditto on the chrome trim and glass. The door handle is basically the same except for the thumb button. I'd guess that there were no 90s with chrome door handles though. Any ide...

Model 90 left rear door

I'm working on restoring a '77 5DR 99 and ended up with a model 90 LR door. Its in fairly good shape (small dents, or possibly points where it was pulled out), trim, glass, rubber .. its all there. I guess the main difference is the door button under the handle rather than in the handle. Is there mu...

Re: Windshield Removal Tips?

Well, in my case its a 5DR so I've got those two tear drop ones to practice with as well. Thank you so much for the links and mention of Restoration Specialties. Dan had mentioned them before but I had not yet got the part number. Its going to be trial and error, but geez, you'd think someone would ...

Re: Windshield Removal Tips?

A friend of mine and I are going to attempt removing the front and back glass in my '77 GL soon. Reading this thread has given me some confidence and I'll use the techniques mentioned. One thing I need to get prior though is replacement lockstrips. I was told by the friend who is going to help me th...
