I'm looking at replacements too as I've blown 3 8 amp fuses in the past 4 months. I've been told I should be using a 16a fuse, but I've also read about 1978 and on fuel pumps having a problem with the rubber breaking down. Mine is a 77. Price wise it looks like $115-$150 for the correct bosch part.

The contact paper faux wood was in poor shape. I tested a piece with walnut, but ended up using teak wood. Sanded 600, 1200 and 2000 grit with linseed oil and wax.
