I was just looking at Vince Tong’s website (ultraviremotorsports) and one of the diff lockers he sells locks the diff 100%, basically creating a welded diff ($265) or at least from what I understand. The other one puts more and more pressure on the spider gears the more the tightening bolt is tigh...

I've built light brackets for at least 5 c900s street and TSD cars. For each one I've always attached the bracket to the back of the bumper either using the stock M6x1 bolt holes for the fog light brackets or the 8mm bolts for the bumper stops (the brackets that locate the bumper around the radiator...

It was being worked on a few years ago, before the Sellholm diff was available. The plan didn't end up getting followed through for various reasons but it dosen't mean that it couldn't be done. I don't think anyone has contacted the US Sellholm distributor. I found this info for him: Johna Ekstrom 6...

so that website mentions 18v 24v and 36v. Do you need two car batteries (24v) to get a good weld on anything other than thin sheet metal?

wow looks awesome, thanks for the update. You know the funny thing is that that's Luke's second time he had the clutch cover catch fire. The first time I think the slave blew out and shot combustable clutch fluid everywhere. Maybe a non-plastic clutch cover is in order?? Maybe thats why the works 9...

I can't understand this: Most people buy newer, more expensive cars than I do. I see plenty of people with $20K, $30K, $40K+ cars out in the snow but hardly any of them ever buy snow tires. Sure you could argue that I might have more cash around because I'm not making monthly payments on my car but ...

Rally Results: Yeah, beating Pastrana was part of the bragging rights :-) I haven't seen the results yet because the internets police at work think that the website its on it "webmail", whatever. So if they think we were running a 9-2X, does that mean that they have us in the 4wd class (wh...

Yeah, I've been waiting for the results to become available online so we can brag :-)

If Seth comes we'll have to see who is taller, probably you though as he's only what 6'3"? Plus he doesn't count because he's 1/4 Swede. All of my Swedish relatives are short....

http://home.swipnet.se/rpglasfiber/ It took me a while to find! The hard part with Swedish is that a lot of the words are two (or more?) words combined. This makes it really tough to translate because I never know where the words are combined so I don't know how to break them up. The things under t...

I wonder of those guys will be at the Festival in Sweden in June... I'm going and I'd like to see what all their other stuff looks like while I'm there (they don't have many photos on their website and I don't read much of the Swedish on it either!)

Also..... This is my 69th post!!

Any winter tire by Nokian will be better than any tire from any other manufacturer http://www.nokiantires.com/en/winter_passenger.aspx We ran a ummm.. "brisk" TSD Saturday night/Sunday morning and we ran the Hakkapeliitta 2 tires with studs. The 2 is basically a combination of Nokain's old...

hey Luke, I've got stock 900 rear springs on my car (SAAB S&R rally springs in the front). I used to run higher pressures in the rear to balance the car out (get the tail out a little). After I put the fiberglass hood on I had to go to lower pressures in the rear to keep the rear of the car behi...

I've been interested in doing the Alcan for at least 10 years now. I remember seeing an old issue of Nines where there were a few SAABs, I think one was a 9000 and the other was a C900 with an airflow kit. At the end of the rally the front airdam on the airflow car was demolished. From the ice road ...
