The difference that I know about is that they changed the valve (stem) in the t7 heads to be thinner. We had a discussion about it in some other thread. I got GT28RS(GT2871R) And that thing spools very quick and I got less lag than stock turbo. I got 2.1L head and intale manifold. I only run 10 psi for now and I can't get enough of driving my saab, it is so much fone driving it with some good power. I plan on installing water injection and boosting ...

Succes, I pulled and resealed the used rack from my car. I made few special tools according to the Saab factory manual and the thing went very easy. Now am an expert in rack rebuilding. I installed the rack today PITA and test drove it and no leaks the fluid stays at the same level. I found the seal...

Rebuilt racks are better than original because rebuilders bore out the rack housing and insert a steel sleeve. The original aluminum surface goes bad. . you are wrong, 1987+ C900 racks have steel spool valve housing so there is no need to sleeve it. The racks that are run without boots for too long...

you could just put in a rebuilt rack...they are about $120...or so...maybe more...its been a while since I needed one. I don't trust rebuilt racks, they don't do good job.
