I had a chance to see 2007 9.5 2.3T under the hood and all I can say the cylinder head did not change at all externaly at least. I wonder if it is the same as older heads.

I bought a 1999 9.3 engine and I hear that is still T5, but head is the same as 2002 9.5 when I compared them.

the rack and pinion that I have rebuilt is still not leaking and fluid level stays the same. All I can say succes.

Rebuilt racks are better than original because rebuilders bore out the rack housing and insert a steel sleeve. The original aluminum surface goes bad. . you are wrong, 1987+ C900 racks have steel spool valve housing so there is no need to sleeve it. The racks that are run without boots for too long...

you could just put in a rebuilt rack...they are about $120...or so...maybe more...its been a while since I needed one. I don't trust rebuilt racks, they don't do good job. That is ghetto. I did, long time ago when SPG9 was still around, now they closed down because they never sold any products that work.

I had found out that C900 has a problem with those U joints that connects to the rack and pinion, they tend to develop some play and rust. My hydraulic rack is leaking bad now. I can't find another rebuilt kit so I don't know what to do.
