Re: '90 Vert T5 Swap

The heater portion of the o2 gets power from the fp relay and ground through the ecu. Make share you have the reference signal grounded.

Re: Setting up a C900 for the Track

Quick update: The switchover to the larger tires required some stiffer springs to prevent /fender rub. This sort of threw a monkey wrench into all of the alignment setup done previous. The next stiffer front spring we had on the shelf causes the front to sit higher and it was clear that the rear was...

Re: T5.x Unlocking

Glad to hear it. The CAN interface is great, I don't think I've had to use BDM in years.

Re: T5.x Unlocking

Yeah it was one of those things I found out the hard way after many hours of frustration. :)

I have both Lawicel and Combi, but the Combi is new and I haven't used it yet. My first Lawicel just died on me after about 3 years of use and I just replaced that as well.

Re: T5.x Unlocking

The one caveat is that you have to save the file outside of the Binaries directory. The binaries director in t5suite is a locked directory that will not actually save any changes. So if you reopen the binary and the box is rechecked, then you are trying to save the binary into that locked directory....

Re: T5.x Unlocking

1. Open up your bin file, or download from ECU using T5CANFlasher (http://www.txsuite.org/) in T5Suite

2. Go to Actions -> Trionic options (firmware) in T5 Suite

3. Uncheck RAM Locked, Click OK, Close program

4. Use The T5CanFlasher to write program back to ECU

Re: Setting up a C900 for the Track

One thing about blow by is that the PCV system never seems to be up to the task at long periods of high RPM + higher than stock levels of boost. Also, I noticed the stock (even pricey Pierburg) PCV check valves were constantly blowing out on us which was making matters worse. I switched to the 9000 ...

Re: Setting up a C900 for the Track

Just the bring this topic back from the dead. The race car has come a long way since this post originally. The springs we had settled on were 375lb in the front, which is on the soft side when running a 225/50/15 and 205/50/15 , F/R stagger. Handling was pretty good. With the added power and straigh...

For the record it is 16t td04. So right there in your ball park. Faster response than a t3 but really good legs at high rpm.

Re: FS c900 downpipe w/ ext wastegate and midpipe

Well if the turbo I had wasn't just Ericsson rebuilt and plumbed I'd be very tempted. Can you pm me your killer package deal anyway ? Maybe a three way horse trade with hutch buying the td04 set up for a c900. Plus Gary has a downpipe setup for that turbo already :)

Re: FS c900 downpipe w/ ext wastegate and midpipe

I really need this setup for the race car, but it has the Volvo tdo4 which doesn't play well with the block off plate.

Re: C900 Vented Hub Adapters

Jordan/Seth, Thank you ! Like Luke I've been stashing away '86-7 hub assemblies for the future - when I could have just pulled the 'axle flange'- hub and saved a lot of space and effort. The Eeu - EBC Redstuff pads - are these the ones that require drilling out the 'pin' holes to fit the Saab 'U' p...
