I just talked to Chris Rizzon about getting the diffs shipped to his SAAB shop in VT. As I had mentioned before this would probably be a good place because its a business and he is always there. Chris was happy to accept delivery when they come in (except for Sonett's because he can probably pick h...

My stick is bigger than your stick, Why does it always come down to competion. 12-14 does it really matter. Boys will be boys, as my mother always say's. The main idea was just to get 5 units made so the price would be reasonable. So, now there will be 12. I'm very happy it turned out that I made t...

I've had a chat with Tom, he will set mine up for tarmac. I've also offered a gearbox casing just in case the one he has been offered is held up. Sonett, you rule! :D Its good to get a Britt into the mix! Now if RSP from Austrailia (who started the thread) would place an order we'd have a large amo...

quote] One weird, Saab-related note regarding Quaifes: ITB Saaber Nat W. at Eriksson in CT told me they went faster using a Quaife with a *front swaybar* installed than without one, which goes against my Solo2 experience. (BTW, he bailed on the 900 and races a Volvo now.)[/quote] Hans, have you inst...

I'm using a Turbosmart dual port on my 900. You can crank the spimg in and out by hand, so it is easy to change the spring load. The dual port is nice because daily driving the Pushhh sound get a bit old. If you get on it and get the boost up the piston will rise higher and exposing the dump to atmo...

yeah the shockproof only works when its really hot out, otherwise ya cant shift. redline MTL should work well, but ive never tried it. Paul I use shockproof in my daily driver and it shifts fine when it is fairly cold (snowing). If it really cold MTL would be a better choice. clarification: I use t...

Re: Trans cooler pump?
With the addition of the new Quaife, I think it's time to install a tranny oil cooler. The lines will be custom (easy) and the cooler can be an old 900 oil cooler (easy), but what to use for the pump? What has been used in the past? Any thoughts? John, Dennis here, I used a Mocal diff pump. 190ish,...
