Re: Hot Rod 99 Build

You may have noted the stripes and hood badge remnants. The car began life as a 78T. It was originally from Ohio and from the records found online it was actually sold at the same dealership (Shaker Saab) as my other 99T! The person I got it from had stripped of its Turbo spec parts to be used on a ...

Hot Rod 99 Build

I feel like I've said this before but... long overdue, I'm updating progress on a project. One or two of you may recall my 78T refresh project, former DSP99t's car. The original intention for that car was this project, but it was too original and solid to go custom. Anyway, a rolling shel...

Re: 900 Suspension Hardware List, Source and Cad/Yellow Zink

Jon, No I haven't put the list together. I just plated everything I have... fill the bucket! I noted where everything came from and resorted it after plating. The trouble I face is that the car was missing a lot to begin with, and I've made enough modifications/upgrades to confuse things further. Ge...

900 Suspension Hardware List, Source and Cad/Yellow Zink

Does anyone have a list of the nuts, bolts and washers needed for the front and rear suspension? I realize this is a bit of a stretch but before I go through and do it myself I figured I'd ask if someone had already done it. I saved everything that survived dissembly, but a lot didn't. I would like ...

1978 Proposed Turbo Stripes

At this year's SOC I bought a bundle of documents in the John Moss Charity Auction. The documents were said to have come from the archives of "Bob Sinclair's right hand man". Contained within the documents was a package of negatives labeled "1978 Proposed Turbo Stripes". Of cours...

Re: Odometer Repair - 'new' style from a '90

I made it. It's just a strip of plastic with a v notch cut in it and two folds in either side of the notch.

No force is placed against the gauge face. It's just a straight pull against the back of the needle head.
