More work on the tooling. Took the sag off the unsupported tail of the head. Built a jackscrew strut to level with the table.
Adding an index feature to locate the plenum trumpets face plate. Still needs a few more members, but that is the idea.

Re: Bespoke Intake Manifold B202
I was looking at those prior to choosing the Rhino Cart. It is a good looking system and reasonably priced. I do like the fact you have a vertical plane to build off of. The rhino cart and clamp starter kit I got 20% off and free shipping. On to the manifold, Working on the runners and trumpets. 225...

Re: Bespoke Intake Manifold B202
I have to say I love this Rhino Cart from Stronghand. The 2” on center holes drive you to make bases and fixtures line up to that pattern. With that you can place your business anywhere on the table. Originally I thought I was going to have to rebuild the fixture to pick up new holes on the other en...

Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
Not much work on the intake. Did some cleaning up and organizing, so all the parts are in one box. I’ve been bouncing around some ideas from a company in Germany and their take on the plenum design and fab. #p_motorsports on instagram. Feeding the center will greatly help out distribution across the...

Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
14 months since the last post. Not much to report, which is good as far as issues. Went for a pizza run to our favorite place in Seattle last Friday. Only 15 mins each way, but what a hoot to drive. So much power on tap, and such a driver's car. A few years out but, most likely to be buried in my c9...

Re: Engine Rebuild Stand
This engine stand is a pretty rocking design. Great to see some of the race car prep spilling over to fabricated tools. The gussets, capped tube ends, bearings in double shear, and some quality TIG welding. Well done. May have to try my hand at one? I do want to swap the head and build the intake ma...

Re: Engine Rebuild Stand
Fantastic job. I’ve been thinking about an engine stand too. I like the design of the Beta tool, but I’m unsure if I’d trip on the two forward reaching legs?
Nice gusset work and the bearings in double shear.

Re: Frankensaab , The '78 99L
For what it's worth, I've never actually seen or had an inner driver failure besides a broken axle or tripod taking one out. I think the sleeve would be slightly beneficial as more of a protective armor, but not much need for it otherwise. Let's just say most everything we do for prep is overkill. ...

Time to upgrade the inner driver sleeves since it is apart?

Re: Been a while.
With the camshaft fitted it’s all over at 6500. Using B234 turbo injectors in the original place in the manifold, welded in some bosses. Changed over to LE type injection. It won’t let me attach pics, maybe too big a file. Not very tech savvy but will try some more. Yes this website kick my ass whe...

Need a money shot of that. Although those flares look good.
