Re: 2023 Spring Maryhill Hillclimb

Rota RBs. 15x7, -12 offset.

I really need to find some 15x8s or 15x9s for the front so I can run some wider tires.

Re: 2023 Spring Maryhill Hillclimb

Hey Birdie! The color is a mid-90s GM blue, but I don't remember the exact one. Hard to believe that the paint is now older than the original Antelope Brown was when I had it painted! It's all in my build thread, but it's an overbored 2.1 with custom Race-Tec pistons and lightweight rods for a 2RZ T...

Re: 2023 Spring Maryhill Hillclimb

Final results. One more run and I may have made the top 10.

2023 Spring Maryhill Hillclimb

Hey all! I raced Frank in the Spring Maryhill event this weekend and had a decent result. The new engine, suspension setup and wing all made the car feel much faster and planted. My fastest run was 155.51 seconds. On Saturday, my fastest of 5 runs was 158.xx but I knew there was a lot of time left o...

Re: MANX CLASSIC 2023 HILLCLIMB OVER 3 DAYS

The hillclimbs I do range from 1.6 to 2.2 miles (2.5 to 3.5 k) There's one in Kelowna BC that I really want to do. 3 events in 3 days sounds like a lot of work! Our last event of the season, the 2-day Maryhill Hillclimb, is followed by a track day at Oregon Raceway Park the following day. Really mak...

Re: Wheel and Tire Options

I have Kumho Ecsta 4xIII tires on Frank and have used them on other projects as well. They seem to have several performance tires in the 205/55-15 size.

Re: New here!

Hey Tim! Welcome aboard! Not much happening these days, but maybe some fresh blood will help! I'm sure I've seen the rust bucket around. I'm mostly in Bend these days, but back in town every few weeks (because most of my cars are still there) Did you get the 85 from Mike? If so, he got it from me! J...

It's mounted right at the radiator outlet. Nearly the highest point in the system. I'll get a picture when it stops snowing.

Re: Per, the 77 99 Rally

I think it is. It heats up, then the temp drops temporarily right where you expect it to, but then keeps heating up. After playing with it some more, I'm having a problem getting it to bleed and stay bled. I'm back in Boise this weekend, a half dozen 88-92 900s just showed up at the local yard. 4 ha...
