Re: 1987 900S Track Car

This may sound like an obviously dumb suggestion, but you might check that your fuel pressure regulator diaphragm hasn't ruptured. When mine ruptured, it caused a super rich condition that fowled plugs and spewed black smoke. Took me a long time to find the problem, but when I pulled the vacuum line...

Here is a pic of my mountain bike, it's a Commencal Meta 6. This picture is atop Bald hill just outside my campus.

Re: Another Oregon Saab enthusiast

Not really as close to Seattle as one might think, but I did check out some of his posts. 300+ hp c900 vert... hugely impressive build. I've seen the car on the net before but didn't know much about the build. thanks for connecting the dots.

Green Llama, 85 turbo T5 conversion

Last day of spring break. I had hoped to get the T5 conversion done, but rainy weather and the fact that I still haven't received my wiring harness from eEuroparts made that goal an impossibility. I should be getting the harness monday, so maybe I can find some time next week to re-install all the i...

Re: Paradise in Oregon

I live in corvallis, rod's shop and junkyard is about 20 min north in Jefferson. If anyone is interested in getting in contact I believe his info is on the link squaab99t posted. I don't doubt he scrapped a bunch of cars. from what I've seen the few times I've gone, it seems like he has a pretty goo...

Paradise in Oregon

Took some pictures while buying parts today. Oregon is the place to own a Saab! This is Rod Beckner's recking yard, he provides parts and service for saabs new and old.

Re: 1985, T16, w/auto Project (fresh aquisition).

Nice black 85. my wiring also looked just like that. I took some liquid wire tape to it and it has held up ok. I would check your hall effect sensor connector on the distributor. The connector is poorly designed, and will result in a no start condition (guess how I know that). A quick check is to ha...

Re: Another Oregon Saab enthusiast

Thanks all, I was pretty satisfied with how the paint turned out ( did it myself ). The color is hunter green, thought it was reminiscent of the classic british racing green. Someday i'll put the original saab rear window louvres and turbo badging that I have back on to complete the look. I'm studyi...

Another Oregon Saab enthusiast

Hello SAABRALLY, I have really enjoyed reading the forum and observing the awesome saab projects that you all post to the site. in 2010 I traded my 1995 jeep grande cherokee straight across for a 1985 saab 900 turbo and haven't looked back since. The 85 turbo has been my daily drive while living in ...
