Re: removing 99 front rotors
It should also be noted that the wheel bearings for those hubs are completely unobtanium last I checked. They're some weird specification that doesn't cross over to anything, so since saab doesn't make em anymore, they're gone.

Re: Axle issues.
I'll have to pop the outer CV out and measure it, unless you want the whole axle measurement? I'm presuming if I used a later axle I'd have to swap to the later inner drivers too, right? Guess theres no reason not to at this point, but I'm getting tired of swapping that damn thing, have to jack the ...

Axle issues.
So, at weatherly the car was running great, right up until I broke the crap out of the driver side inner driver/tripod bearing, ended up looking like this: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-n7eFABByE5I/VBTMXXt6FLI/AAAAAAAAIk0/6drQHxzfwWY/w407-h543-no/IMG_20140913_185509.jpg Fixed it saturday night,...

Re: Craigslist / Fleabay / Blocket.se / Kijiji / Thread
Yeah, car is probably worth $200 or less, unless you're scrapping it, in which case it's probably worth $3-400, doesn't even look like it's got may good interior parts either, bet it's got a burnt valve and a bad water pump.

It would be worth it just for the Uber rare Aztec wheels...
Ha! Indeed, I've got like 4 sets of Incas, but no Aztecs at all.

They have rears too. Seems like it's about $1000 for the whole set front and rear.

Re: WTB: c900 racecar shell...
It sounds like Luke's friend is the exact thing you are looking for, but if not I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of my 85 (n/a 8v  ) 900 notch and replacing it with a 99. Perhaps we could figure out a switcharoo with your EMS (if you still have it?) or the racecar if you ...

WTB: c900 racecar shell...
So, I'm nearing the end of my patience with a 99 as a high horsepower racecar platform, other than being slightly lighter, it's all negatives, no power steering, no room in the engine bay. So I need a c900 to build up, i'd prefer a notchback, but i'd take anything but a convertible if it's a non-sun...

Re: Interesting Wilwood issue
Thats entirely possible, I seem to remember these being from rockauto, and perhaps being two different rotors even though they were both in beck arnley boxes. I'm just gonna crank it down clear of the rotor and hope for the best, worst case it gets a little more chewed up by the rotor and I have to ...

Re: Interesting Wilwood issue
Rigidity maybe, but the clip is completely independent of the bolt, as far as I can tell the pads will stay there without it. Probably should just buy a new sleeve, and hope it doesn't happen again.
