Re: 9-3 Oil Pan Help
Make sure you clean off that RTV out of there. The correct sealant is anerobic 518. Still use it sparingly, that hole where the pickup tube comes up to is critical as it supplies the pump with oil, you don't want to be pulling any air in. Assuming you also pulled the pick up tube out and its all cle...

Re: T7 Wiring Harness Compatibility
I think I've seen a few manual transmission Dame Edna (or whatever they are calling them) 9-5s. Harder to find for sure, but they do exist. I think I like 04-05 the best. My wife had the unicorn for a while before we sold it. 05 Manual Aero Wagon, I have a 02 Aero Sedan currently, but will probably ...

Re: T7 Wiring Harness Compatibility
You have my email Phil if you ever need anything like that, sometimes those messages get to me, sometimes not haha. The wiring for the DIC are easily replaced too, unless it is REALLY bad, but most of the time it is just at the connector. If so you can re-terminate and replace the connector if you n...

Re: T7 Wiring Harness Compatibility

Re: eEuro T5 flywheels
It's not really a failure issue, its the over-sensitivity of the sensor with setup. With these VR sensor setups, the sensor is sort of "matched" to the trigger wheel. The sensor works with magnetic flux, so if the trigger which is generating the flux is out of range of the sensor, it won't...

Re: eEuro T5 flywheels
The other parts (bracket, sensor and plug adapter) are required for it to work properly. Without using these parts, I've found them less reliable.

That looks like an early 9000 unit. It can be modified to fit, but it isn't a direct swap. (Sorry I'm Late ) :)

My anecdotal evidence is that I've never seen a failure in this area simply from just having a lot of power.

Re: Rebuilding or rebooting ball joints
Genuine SAAB are still made by TRW to the best of my knowledge. The Febi ones are good quality and have held up very well to the rigors of racing and road use.

Re: Saab 9000 Build - Boot Cut Issue - Help Please
If you have a copy of the bin file or could get me the ecu I'd be happy to look at it. without that it could really be a lot of things. The biggest contributor I see to boost control problems is improper base-boost settings and too high initial boost requests.
