My latest thought on pistons for a non turbo build up are centered around motorcycle pistons. The Pistons in my KTM and in my Suzuki have almost no skirt. At idle they slap around a bit but they also weigh very little and rev easily. Some work would have to be done to source some short skirt low wei...

I have always liked the 4 doors and was looking for a 4 door to use as a rally shell for a little while. Seems like the best combo as you can access the back a lot more easily. Once the cage is in it doesnt make a big difference. it might be a little heavier due to the rear doors.

I would love to put together a Historic class rallycar... A Sonett would be oh-so-big-a-blast. Seth and I were talking about that yesterday. A Sonett V4 (I like the body style better) with a built up V4.. yeehaww! Something I've thought about for a while... But Mongo no fit! Geoff was talking about...

I used to know all that stuff very well. It has since been replaced with the finer points of forming titanium and steel into turbine engine blades.

Top Gear mayhem

Ok we all know top gear is a great show and after having just watched the american episode per Luke recommendation (absolute riot) I watched this one: They tried to launch a reliant robin into simulated orbit and glide it down... part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckyXtEd0PV0&mode=related&...

i disagree with the turbo with ITB remark. I have seen several turbo cars with ITB setups and they didnt do anything to fancy. I believe the 16v test cars ran itb setups. As I understand it, running appropriately sized ITB's with a properly designed intake will improve throttle response and can make...
