Re: Gearbox girdle
I won't be pushing the GT28 to it's limit. 300 crank hp and 450 to 500nm (high revs) is fine. The TE05 feels like a log down low and is out of breath at around 4500rpm (though T5 keeps it at 1 bar till red line, but the torque is gone then) I'm looking for better drive-ability down low and more fun ...

Re: Gearbox girdle
Running a Stock LPT box (GM45614) with a Steel diffcover and Type 8's now which does really well with 216whp and 334wnm. (dyno'd, probably a bit more outdoors) But I'm looking for a more modern replacement turbo for my TE05. The GT2860RS sounds like a nice candidate, but I'm not sure my box agrees w...

Re: Gearbox girdle
How much abuse can modified boxes like these take over a stock one?
Not talking about drag races all day, but normal street driving with say 350hp+ and 500nm+ and giving it the beans from time to time.

Krizzie's white 900 Aero
Usually a project starts with the purchase of a car, but since I already did that 6 years ago and the project started back then, this is more of a summoning up of what already has been done. :P How I bought "Brulletje" back in 2009: (I guess "Loud mouth" is the nearest translatio...

The projectors are pretty straight forward. You can order them from http://www.retrofitlab.com I would suggest using EU spec lights since they open up a lot easier than US ones. And you can add height adjustment from inside the car which you will need if have loads or people in the back. And thanks!...

Thanks!
They also work a lot better at night than the stock candles do.

Re: Greetings from the Netherlands!
Basically the folding seats and non folding seats are the same, so if you drill the rivits and cut the welds you can switch the non folding seatback with the folding one. For 9000 Aero seats you also need to cut the extra braces and reweld them on the folding 900 frame. All in all an afternoons work...

Re: Best Location for IAT Sensor
I have mine in front of the TB, had some Intercooler pipes welded up (didn't like the silicone, pipe, silicone, pipe etc. look) On other T5 900's I've seen it's usually located around there. http://i963.photobucket.com/albums/ae116/Krizzie88/Saab%20900%20Turbo/IMG_20150625_094826_165_zps5cqbbc0d.jpg

Hi there! I've been lurking here unregistered for quite some time now and I love the crazy projects that are going on here. Following them is a lot easier when you're registered so here I'am! :eyebrows: Of course I have my own project which is my MY91 900 "S". http://i963.photobucket.com/a...
