I'm looking for another set of hubs for vented rotors, as available on 86-87 900s and Turbo models. This is the 4x114.3 bolt pattern only.
I only need the hubs/spindle- I do not need the upright that the ball joints attach to.
Let me know what you have!

Re: Saab 900 Notchback Rally Car
http://crazyswede.smugmug.com/Cars/1986-900-notch-build/i-jv7JVXN/0/L/hub%20on%20car-L.jpg Yes the hub is red. The drivers side hub is green...the intention being that any side specific spares will be color coded to make finding parts easier in the future....such as during a 20 minute service where...

Sounds and looks awesome. No LSD in the rearend? Too bad about the one-wheel burnout.

Re: wanted.. older style hub!
No way, that thing is toast. The bearing fit is gone- notice the textured pattern on the bearing surface? That is from the inner seat spinning on the flange/hub. You could turn the whole thing down and find a non-standard bearing to fit the new smaller inside diameter, but this isn't a rare hub he i...

Re: Interesting Wilwood issue
No big deal. The sleeve on my calipers is a tiny bit loose on the bolt, so if it was close to the rotor I could just pull it away when I tightened it up. I've found that rotor diameter shifts a good deal from one manufacturer to the next. Any chance you have different rotors on each side of the car?

2014 SAAB Owners Convention, Redmond Oregon
I'm getting the car ready to attend the SOC event next week, and in reading the schedule of events, I saw there was a conspicuous absence of an autocross, track day, dyno event, or even parts tent. You know, the four reasons I would be interested in going to a convention? I posted the question to th...

Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
I will be utilizing a double slip merge collector. The primaries have a double wall that slips over the collector. This will allow for thermo expansion/contraction and seal when it is up to temperature. Bee hive springs and loops to keep the merge collector and the primaries tight when cold, but st...

Under the "associated products" tab, it looks like the fitting set is NLA, but not sure about the slaves.

Re: Twin Scroll Turbo
Looking good Dennis. Regarding supporting the turbo separate from the manifold, do you have any plans for mitigating pipe expansion? If there are enough bends in the header upstream of the turbo, you may be able to get away without any issues. While I don't have any direct pipe stress analysis exper...

Re: Slave cylinder travel distance
Check out this slave from APracing. They are expensive but come with different throw options and have high quality seals. http://www.apracing.com/product_details/race_car/slave_cylinders/push_type_slave_cylinders/cp3959_family-interchangeable_with_saab_900_cylinder.aspx Nice find. I couldn't find p...

Re: Slave cylinder travel distance
If the flywheel is thinner then you should shim the the pressure plate out, or else you will probably blow the slave again. If you shim the PP, then wouldn't you be taking away from clamping force on the clutch disk? I suppose you could shim the slave out from the transmission housing. Best to mach...

Re: C900 Cooling System Upgrades
Is there a suggested water pump for 900s? I've had a Hepo brand pump running for a few years now, and it has worked out fine. I wasn't sure if this was an item to go after OEM on or not. Suggestions?

Re: C900 Cooling System Upgrades
Drew, if you guys are going to get a run of 99 radiators made, I'd be interested in one too... assuming you're going over to a cross-flow style that relocates the cold side discharge at the bottom of the radiator similar to the 900 style. Getting one of these made has been toward the bottom of my to...
