I am running a blue coolant sensor on my 900 with T5.2 and when I converted my 93 9000 from TCS I swapped to a blue sensor. The black sensor feeds the ETC controller.

I pulled the trigger wheel off the 9000 and put it on the 900 pulley and it worked. The relationship to the key way is different on the 202 vs the 234 but SAAB was pretty smart in their indexing scheme.

Can you plug your PC in and monitor while cranking? You will know immediately if you have CPS signal. Since I was running T5.2 I tested it before I installed the motor in the car.
