Re: spring cup strengthening

There's nothing in the fiche for different suspension components. Not sure why the front suspension would need beefing up for a del van, the extra load is at the back. Only ref to the van I can find is for the interior components. The stronger spring links were offered for the early hatchback deliv...

Re: 2.1 8V Q's

I'd love a duplicate of your setup but what I already have was worth the price. :P

I get similar comments from 99 owners over here, until they actually ride in it, then reality hits home.

Re: 2.1 8V Q's

Just the typical reasons (cam, valve train weight, etc.). In the US, dual valve springs has been a typical modification for 8 valve engines using MSS bits. This is mostly due to what is available locally for cams (a fair amount of MSS cams), lifter buckets (modified stock), valves (from MSS), etc. ...

Re: 2.1 8V Q's

Most of the threads on here about 8V's aren't much help, mainly dealing w/ other people's screwed up race heads. I'm just looking to build a mild head to take advantage of the 2.1 block and headers I already have. What I did find interesting was the tidbit about Rover lifter shims. Are thes...

Re: Wanted - shift fork to suit 1992 c900 box

I should have some good used forks, I'll have to look. I also have new syncros for the later boxes, 8728461 x2 and 8719924 x1. I also have new inner race and needle bearing assemblies, check the number on the inner race, it should be INA F-209823 2 Germany 02/E3.
