Unique SAAB and other stuff [FS] on eBay - Ends Sunday 20Dec
Self serving post here... Got a few things up on eBay including some unique SAAB stuff. A 1981 SAAB Accessories Catalog Winter Jacket (XL), a '92-'93 9000 Rosewood Dash Appliqué (which I think fits the '94-'96 9000 also...I bought it for my Aero), and the 4 spoke SAAB Momo Sport Steering wheel. Also...

Re: Steel Rear Diff Covers
I could use one soon. Tighter clearances on the bolt holes would be cool if possible. Tightening bolt hole clearance could get some into a no-build situation. It'd be better (and more difficult, admittedly) with at least two new tight alignment holes or pins, req'ing custom pins or holes on the box...

Re: 1980 99 Rally Car on Bring a Trailer.com
Too expensive, yes. Otherwise, depends on how you look at it. As a "for show" or TSD car, my buddy Gary Tafoya got $5K for his "Stig painted" '75 99 2dr Turbo (retrofitted) w/ 900 doors & EU headlamps, basically stock otherwise. As a stage rally car, it has a long way to go. ...

Rumor: SOC10 track day at Nelson Ledges or Putnam Park
You'all have heard the rumor that there will be an SOC10 Track Day at Nelson Ledges (no noise restriction apparently) yes? Fall back is Putnam Park... The SOC10 dates are 22-25July...I'd guess the track day would be either the 21st (Wed) or 22nd (Thurs) Just getting that tidbit out there... :thumbsu...

Re: D.O.T Auto-X tires & other stuff
Have you ever thought of 13 inch rims and tires? Worked well for me in Autocross. Ted On a SAAB? I tried Ford 14" steel rims for previous Enduro rules and they didn't clear the front brakes ('88- SAABs). Altho 14" VW bug rims clear the -'73 99 brakes...trying to remember if those stayed t...

Re: Saab 99/900 8v high performance induction.
Note that Sonett's Jansport intake has a coolant port btwn the #2 & #3 intake, Swedesport's (& my) MSS does not...tho I have seen the MSS "with" also.
I'd think you'd get better head cooling "with". And that port is a pusher (ask me how I know)...

Interior looks nice though.
That's actually a rare optional spoiler kit that's intended to be mounted there, mid-hatch steel. I've 1.75 kits of those stashed away somewhere...

Re: Early 99 parts needed
If you haven't had any luck, you might try hitting up the SAAB99 list: http://jasonsimonds.com/mailman/listinfo/saab99_jasonsimonds.com . There's a few folks on there with older 99s and parts stashes. Also (and if you have the space), you might consider the '69 parts cars out there on TSN ( http://w...

Weight of a 99 B20 engine & manual trans?
I'm really breaking the dam like a, uh, compromised dam today, eh?
Anyone know off the top of their head or could look it up? N/A or Turbo, doesn't matter, just looking for a close number...
430lbs is ringing a bell in mine but, mid-move, don't have the time to confirm.
TIA!
Sean

*Westbound* transport available btwn Albany, NY & Detroit, M
Not sure where to post this but this seems to be the best forum. If not, mods, please feel free to move.... Currently deadheading westbound as I'm moving the geometric center of SAABs & SeanKHotay east. Multiple trips thru early May (at least 6 more as of 13AP). Both an 18' open deck trailer and...
