Re: LeMons "Loudon Annoying" NHMS
I'll let Jordan give the details, but from our, (Fiasco Rallysport's Merkurian Falcon) vantage point across the garage bay, Norman and his trained team of handlers should have gotten the I got Screwed award the the heroics that they undertook in an effort to turn laps at speed on track. Nice job! Oh...

Re: Need Camshaft ID help
ok, so, here is the the thing with these cams....you guys probably all know this, but they appear to all be the same! And not just all the intake and all the exh. Other than being 180deg out of phase, the base center and lobes all measure the same.
So, there ya go.

Re: Need Camshaft ID help
the numbers are super hard to read, but here is a bit of an update on the two that are paint-penned as intake and exhaust
756141 1255440 5210 (someone has marked this intake)
756096 1255440 (someone has marked this exhaust)
The exh might be 756896 1255440...very hard to tell.

Re: Who's rally car was this?
I know some of it... Car was built by/for Sam Bryan and Rob Waldon (spelling is wrong I'm sure.) Two WA state saab pervs who ran/run a Saab garage. They had a c900 and were legitimately quick. They almost certainly drained their collective bank accounts and likely received some relatively small spon...

Re: C900 transmission - Forward and Reverse at the same time
Yeah Geoff...it was definitely well-used. It's also possible that my forgetting to turn on the trans cooler pump the year before for 8 stage miles could have contributed to the thing getting hot and melting out the loktite...who knows.
It on the slate for a rebuild before the upcoming season.

Re: C900 transmission - Forward and Reverse at the same time
Hey Geoff-
This past summer the S&R box selected a couple of gears at the same time, not sure which ones. Turns out that the big nut on the gear cluster shaft backed out letting the gears mesh wrong. Not sure why/how the nut backed off...but it did.

Re: 2.5 Monster Motor
My (un)calibrated butt-dyno tells me that a 2.0 bottom end, 2.1 head, header and mostly tuned T5 makes good torque and doesn't seem to mind reving up to a self-imposed rev limit of 7200. Car currently has some cams in it...not sure what the grind is. Jordan and Kip might be able to answer. Some thou...
