Wish we could get more shots of it, but looks cool!

Also cool to hear Saab would open up a US operations as part of the bid.

Re: Krizzie's white 900 Aero

Hey Krizzie, I've been thinking about doing a Xenon swap recently but your pictures of your setup seemed to have died with photobucket. Do you have any more pics on Flickr or any more details about your setup? Did you get clear lenses for it, or sand yours flat, or just use as is?

Holy crap, you've got some good detective skills! :-O

It wasn't even registering when I was looking it over but it looks like there is the same faded rear bumper trim and sticker on the rear hatch glass:

Re: 1990 900T Vert with T5 Swap and SPG Package - $3250

Ah yes I was actually telling someone about the wheels and midway through realized I should have called them Ronals but am so used to calling them Shelby's.. And I hear you on the transmission, I have driven 900s with infinitely more worn gearboxes, I just didn't notice it until I had owned the car ...

1990 900T Vert with T5 Swap and SPG Package - $3250

I can't imagine this is the sort of car for the racers on this board but I'm posting this to some other Saab sites so figured I may as well include it here. Would be happy to make a deal for a SaabRally member! Description: Up for sale is my '90 900 Turbo convertible, I bought this a few years ago a...

Re: Weird Electrical Gremlins

Yeah I've only really noticed it as I've been DD'ing the SPG recently and never bothered dealing with it before (usually prefer just to listen to c900 burble) and rarely drove it at night as the headlights suck so never really noticed the corner light thing. This is an aftermarket radio, and I was t...

Re: Weird Electrical Gremlins

Yeah I was thinking of popping off the center console and jiggling the connectors as it seems odd that it magically fixes itself when the key is all the way to the left and then goes away. And definitely plan to swap some bulbs around as I had heard similar tales of wrong ones causing all sorts of o...

Weird Electrical Gremlins

Soooo another stupid question from me  I reinstalled a radio into my SPG so I could actually listen to music again, having a similar issue to what I had experienced before. Symptoms: 1) Radio only outputs to the LF speaker unless.... 2) When turning the car off and when the key is in the very...

Re: Didn't this 99 used to belong to someone on here?

Just thought I'd update this a few years later, saw it again and a black 99T (cheating by being at Swedish Motors, the local Saab mechanics). Sadly looks like the paint is deteriorating and some rust coming through, would love to see this car with even a Maaco paint job! https://farm2.staticflickr.c...

Re: 9-3 Oil Pan Help

Thanks for the advice guys, and sorry for the late response! I had loosened, but not removed, the middle drivers side subframe bolt thinking that would be enough but once I removed it fully I was easily able to pull the subframe down far enough to get it back on. And yeah I cleaned off the gross RTV...

9-3 Oil Pan Help

So lets call this episode maybe 18 in "Phil should really stop pretending to be a mechanic"... I was performing the PCV #6 update on my Viggen and found a strange oil trap, making me sort of think this car has had an engine replacement (part # shows up as original system on an '04-...

Re: T7 Wiring Harness Compatibility

I wish I had held out, there was a 5 speed '03 wagon up for sale when I got my auto '04, but I opted for the more aggressive '04 front end and wanted 2 pedals for my commute. But for sure, those '02-'05 9-5s are some of the nicest daily drivers available for the money!

Alright one more futile bump and price drop, figured I'd see if anyone was interested in this as I'm eying some new bits for the Viggen!

Re: T7 Wiring Harness Compatibility

You have my email Phil if you ever need anything like that, sometimes those messages get to me, sometimes not haha. The wiring for the DIC are easily replaced too, unless it is REALLY bad, but most of the time it is just at the connector. If so you can re-terminate and replace the connector if you ...
