need anything?

I just picked up 2 900's from a friend for cheap. One car runs and drives, the other car runs ( not sure what the issue is)I know that one is a '83 8v four door, but can't remember what the other is...maybe a late 80's 16v, I dunno. Here's the plan. I'm going to strip one of the cars for what I need...

I should have. There was one problem, in all of our excitement talking over the phone about getting the car, we forgot that the race was on Sunday, not Monday like we had thought. I ended up working and missing everything. oops... On the plus side, I may get to drive for him next month. There's an 4...

oil filter alternative

Anyone have experience using a larger oil filter? This subject was brought up on another Saab forum and I wanted to see what you guys thought of it. I've tried to research some at work, but haven't really had time.

Nope, nothing like that, he just wanted someone to drive one of his shop cars in a race. He built my car last spring and I proved to him that I could drive well. As far as oval track Saab teams go here in southern New England, it's pretty much us ( him and me) and whoever else he has on his " d...

So the decision is... the car is stayin in the garage. I talked with the guy that owns it, and in order for me to make it on time for the race, I'd have to leave here at like 4 in the morn just to make sure there's no problems. Oh well, I'll have a warm seat and a cup of coffee and be a spectator. G...

Yeah that's what I was thinking. But it's a nice early 90's c900 16v and it's won races before.

what should I do?

I got a dilemma. There's a 150 lap Enduro at Riverside Speedway ( 1/4 mile oval) in Groveton, NH New Years Eve. I have been asked to drive a car in the race, but I was planning on going as a spectator. My problem is, the car is in Massachusetts, which I would need to pick up, and then drive 3 hours ...

I don't have much to do on my 900.With roughly 3 months until the first practice day ( Apr 5th) here's the list. -Replace lexan windshield with new pieces -Remove stock gauge cluster and move aftermarket gauges to in front of the driver. -Replace LF lower ball joint -Install push button start and/or...

I give up... Unless I either A) re-fab my motor mount or B) cut and reweld pipes.. this thing ain't gonna fit. I tried for a couple hours tonight. I hammered the pipes alot, cut the down pipe so it's pretty much at the collector, and took an angle grinder to the trans/motor mount. Even if I got it t...

Ok, so it's a 900 header, my bad. It looks like everything will bolt up once I trim off the tail a little. I just didn't want to cut too much off it. I was looking at some options yesterday (working at a parts store does have its advantages) I may have to pick up a couple odd ball pieces with bends ...

The issue with the rack is causing everything not to bolt up, plus chip my nice paint, darn it. I did think of taking a hammer to that part of the pipe, but I think I'd be better off rerouting everything around the rack. I do have a couple stock pipes that fit the car that I might have to use in cas...

So I'm tryin to fit a MSS header into my 900. it ain't goin in.Seems that the 2 1/4" pipe is hitting the rack and pinion. Anyone have a good idea as to how to clear the rack? I got a feeling I'm gonna have to either adpat to a smaller pipe or cut the pipe real close to the collector and maybe g...
