There is an inner joint that is made as a complete unit (no tin cup) It's aftermarket and i will get the brand and let you know. It uses the large bearings. which come with the new joint. I think they are around $120AUS

has anyone thought of fitting a sheet of stainless over the alloy on the sump guard. You drill and tap the alloy and use countersunk allen head bolts to hold it on. the stainless prevents gouging of the alloy by rocks etc. making the guard last a lot longer. Thanks for the help. I have seen the one vince is selling but after talking to our local guru he dosen't think it would be suitable for gravel. The jurgens is a great unit but with the exchange rate of the oz dollar it would make a huge hole in the budget.
