Re: '74 X7 Turbo rwd
There's room, the tunnel is slightly larger on the right side to fit the exhaust though. The parking brake is mounted (and seen in the picture behind the shifter). The rear calipers have integrated parking brake just like the 900 ones :)

Re: '74 X7 Turbo rwd
No it can't take years, my 9-3 Monte Carlo isn't as fun to drive during summer ;) T5-harness marked up and gets adjusted. Exhaust manifold gets a makeover to fit better. http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/7276/5edg.jpg The inside starts to take shape. http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/7601/0q04.jpg...

Re: '74 X7 Turbo rwd
I'm taking my last course at the university now which gives me three working days with an empty schedule. Guess where those days are spent?
My plan is to finish most of the bodywork before christmas, and it seems like it will work.

Lower damper mounts. http://img51.imageshack.us/img51/9279/pwq8.jpg This is the result in the trunk. Will be welded and reinforced later (to a brace between the wheel arches). http://img855.imageshack.us/img855/2512/iaeq.jpg Engine placement =) http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/2208/d3mc.jpg

Yes its pretty tight without modifiying, but it should work with the alternator placed somewhere else (the clutch cylinder is in the way).
