Re: '80 99 With T16V - Sven Block!
I honestly cannot remember what axles went where, one of the reasons I started this thread is to aggregate everything I've done/doing to this car in one spot! I'll try to figure it out, I didn't have to machine any new circlip grooves or anything and fairly sure the tripod bearings sit correctly in ...

Re: '80 99 With T16V - Sven Block!
Yeah that's good advice, I was kinda wandering away from new pistons because I was having a hard time finding them, but one more search yielded a 90.5mm set on ebay for $220 shipped. I did look at your thread Drew about 9-3 and 9-5 reciprocating assembly - maybe next time around, don't have the ener...

'80 99 With T16V - Sven Block!
Ok excuse the dopey title, I'll think up something cooler at some point. This is a car I bought near Boulder, spent its life in the mountains, its a bit of a mess but has a solid body (notchback). I put a motor and transmission from an '88 900 turbo in it a couple of years ago, along with the later ...

Re: Fuel tank overflow hose grommet
Bump
Anyone had any luck with finding the grommet for the overflow hose on the 900? Or one that fits? The junkyard parts are pretty often in terrible shape, although though I did JB weld one recently and that seems to be holding...

OK I just read Drew's post, the one immediately above mine... Not sure how I missed the cam info but I'll find the right ones.

Re: 2 piece 9-5 manifold - useful for using t-7 head?
I've been collecting bits to do the T7 head on a B202, it will eventually end up in the '80 99 I put a nearly dead T16v in. I put them together for fun last night just to see what it looks like, its a big greasy mess just like I'd predicted. I'm going to freshen the block (seals, bearings, and rings...

I'd like a set of the bushings and tie rod inners for my 99, if I'm not too late?

Re: T5 Flywheels
Dumb question, what's the tooth count? I'd like to hook mine up to a megasquirt, seems likely it could be made to work, I know 36-1 is commonly used.

Is that an automotive carpet? Like, fire rated n stuff? Glueing it down makes sense, probably the only way to get it to do what it did. The color scheme (I love it), its called Murdered Out

Re: Yet another yellow '73
Wow Awesome, halfway between batman and mad max, color scheme wise. I've a dumb question, how'd you get the carpet to follow the contours of the pan? Just cut and split? Looks to me like some sort of adhesive as well. I know nothing about such stuff but would like to do something similar to mine.

Re: Fuel tank overflow hose grommet
I don't, thinking about it now though its probably not the right piece, I think it was a lot smaller than that one... Mcmaster perhaps?
