Wow lots of cool pics of these cars going around, I'm getting uber jealous. Need to do some racing again before I try building a jump in the yard or something.
Does the "Red Lobster" 900 have Groo's SR gearbox and Rally Hoes' LSD in it too?

99 problems but a SAAB ain't 1

Thanks to Stacy for finding these pics! Don't try this at home. Cambered the car a little but we drove away :)

RallySlo was running a stock 4spd, JVAB modified Saab S&R LSD(shimmed to within an c-hair of being a locker) and the worlds most beat on 8v full boah rally motah.
We did well to stay ahead of sweep most of the weekend. But...if I do say so myself...the paint job was bitchn' and threatn'd to pull all the chicks off of Duplisise every time we parked near him!
But...but...a more fasterer motor/tranny combo are forthcoming...if I can just move some more meth...

OH CRAP! You weren't kidding! Any shots of team RallyHo doing the axle-bending rail slide there?
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off

I'll have see if that guy had any of Mike, I can imagine how a sideways entry could seriosuly bend some stuff. The thing that the photos don't show well is just how fast we were actually going at impact... we left the car in 3rd gear because of the open nature of the other chicane on stage and didnt even see the ditch until about 15 feet before impact, about a 45-50 MPH or so... the way it felt in the car I was pretty sure we'd be conmpletely missing at least 1 wheel, we were lucky to drive away with only a flat tire and custom alignment.

That was "That Chicane?!!!"
The first one was WAAAAAY more open then that one. And my impression was that it was set up closer to that ditch...like the chicane was further down the road then the first one was...ie, there was more room to get back onto the road at the first one.
If he has pics...that would be great. I had two camera's running during that stage. One pointed out the windshield, one back at my ugly mug. I've got to find a 14yo to help me do some picture-in-picture magic...and some of those pics would be awesome to add in.
My dad posted a pretty cool (IMHO) slideshow of the 30min repair-madness that insued after that ditch here. http://www.facebook.com/rallyhomotorsports

ha, nice. I bet the only reason for nothing but a flat there was that you blew through the berm on the other side. The expressions are priceless
