Pennsylvania Hill Climb Series

I'll probably try to mix a few of these into the calender. They have a rally car class. The safety rules are pretty minimal. Roll bar, belts and window nets if I remember correctly.

I do actually, just not installed window nets. Some hose clamps would fix that pretty quick.

I didn't look too closely at the schedule, do you need a codriver for these events? Would my "free" seats be acceptable? It would be interested to co drive I think. Though I would have to get at least a helmet if not a firesuit as well.

Of course if these events were not weekends I'd be SOL as I can't get anymore time off work.

It's too bad you need a cage ( its probably a good thing).. I'm not really willing to go through that now...

Luke , would you run in Rally or Historic class with your current car? rally id assume?

You don't need a full cage just a roll bar also you can use regular seats but you need racing belts. I'd run the rally class because they honor the rally license in that class, otherwise i'd have to apply and pay for a scca license.

Any way you could get by with "its a saab, it doesn't need a roll bar" :D .

You could mount the belt points to the roof ? :P

I remember a Merkur XR4Ti at a rally one year.. seemed like more than a year ago tho, I think it was RNY.
