Luke and I talked about:

STPR
Rally West Virginia
Maine
Black River Stages
Boucles de Spa
and maybe
some of the hill climb events which were supposed to give you rally america points.

Rally West Virginia has a new organizer and maybe a new date so it will be the toss up event. Otherwise I'm game to navigate all events this year. Probably have to invest in some safety equipment.

If we do well at all 4 events its conceivable that we could place top 3 for NASA and RA. Last year Luke and I both placed 5th overall for the season with NASA just for doing well at BRS. Had we merely entered and started another event we would have placed 3rd overall

Yep sounds great, thats about what I was thinking too, one of the mid summer events will probably have to be nixed as I am planning a road trip up the trans-labrador highway and down around to newfoundland and nova scotia at some point from june->august.

Cool..... in what car. I did something similar a '79 5dr 900t in 1993 or something. A year later I went through NW Territories, Yukon and AK in a '82 Chrysler LeBaron Wagon with a 318 and some sweet fake wood panel on the sides.

I will either be in the '79 Gli or the '86 turbo.

If you take the '79, it will probably be the first one in that neighborhood since mine..... that's kinda funny.

Don't subject the '79 to that road, they're too rare in that sort of condition, and the gravel will mess the underside all up. Let me know if you need any travel tips, the road isn't as bad as it's made out to be, I'm sure you've seen worse

Should be a fun trip. The factory undercoat in the wheel wells generally holds up, the little plastic thingys on the lower rear wheel arches as well as the wheel arch trim and the paint on the lower side of the doors & rear fenders are what goes away after the first 300 or so miles of high speed gravel road driving.

Be sure to stay on the road, Canada 389 although it is "paved" you need a good skidplate for. It is a constantly subjected to heavy logging trucks, is always freezing and thawing and has some of the biggest crowns I have ever seen on an asphalt road. The road will try to steer the car for you. Watch the random basketball sized rocks in the sections where they are running the "road maintenance" equipment, you can see some of the results from catching a stray rock, which is VERY easy to do.

Is the new portion of the TLH done yet? Check that out while you are up there.

Luke,

Are there firm dates on any of the events you want to run this year?

Trying to book some vaca stuff early this year, but want to try to be there for the team. Well for at least a few of the rally's anyhow.

At this point its looking like:

STPR: June 3,4

NEFR: July 15,16

West Virginia: Aug 12,13

Black River: Sept 24, 25

That may be optimistic, but it would be nice to hit all 4.

I would like to run both the pagoda, and duryea hillclimbs. I may try to squeeze in one of the other hills. The schedule is not yet posted. Other than that I'd like to fill the rest of the season hitting random auto/rallycross events. I'd like to see a few cars from the forum here for a Pa event. Luke, You should think about running at Reading.

I'm onboard as crew again as long as the PHA events don't coincide.
