Nice job Seth

I saw that there were a lot of casualties amongst the cars, I guess it was the sections of wet clay?

Yes. Though I thought conditions were better than last year. The cars were sliding all over the place. There was one tree that 4 cars hit. And one stage a car got stuck and every one behind them also got stuck. Its definetly a bike rally. I had the bike pinned at 90 on one stage for at least a mile....sliding through corners....good fun.

So you want to know what its like to ride a motorcycle at Sandblast? Here is a good helmet cam from a fellow competitor. Thing to note here is that my final time was 6 minutes faster so add a little more speed to this clip and you get the idea:

Ill bet rally racing a dirtbike is probably much safer than riding one on the street to work.

It looks kinda mucky, your driving suit looks much cleaner on the podium when you get out of a car.

Yep...closed roads and trees are a lot more predictable than the general driving public.

Yeah, I buy several photos off of this guy after most events. I got some from him that I gave to Geoff from 2 years ago at Black river...great shot of Geoff and Bruce.
