There are quite a few PNW saabers here so, I thought I'd ask to see if there is any interest in having a small group of saabs at the show. I know its pretty far out, but planning takes some time :) The past couple of years I've not seen any saabs, but I know there have been one or two nines in the past. I usually go with the mini group and we easily pull 20-25 lined up together.

I'd love to! I enjoy being the odd man out in most social situations.

Thinking about attending this, though neither of my cars is especially noteworthy. I don't recall why NWSOC never shows up, but they should: it's a pretty fun event (took my non-car-loving mom one year and she loved it).

Sat., June 30th this year

Any nwsoc present at the show this year? I'll be with the mini club. I believe that there maybe a 93 and a 96 mixed in with the volvo club.

For some reason NWSOC doesn't organize to attend Greenwood, which is too bad cuz it's such a huge car show. I was at Scanwest the other day and didn't get the sense that they're involved this year. They have been a sponsor for a long time but you never see any other Saabs besides theism.

My notchback is in crappy shape so I'll be spectating...

Agreed, how about in 2013 we make an effort to get a few NWSOC cars together under regalia? The rules allow for 'in progress' cars too. I'll put something 99 on the innocenti so you can identify it. We usually park across the street from the #253 Masonic Lodge but with 25 minis, you can't miss us!

FWIW, it is on the NWSOC events calendar.

Seattle is a bit far for me, but I plan to make the Oregon shows in July/August.

We had the NWSOC meeting a few months ago and I volunteered to transition as club event coordinator from Dan Morley. I can roll this into one of the events we want to attend 2013, but we need an fair showing, like more than 1 car :dunno: Although they did have a single car make, but it had a steam driven engine.
I went a few years ago, and it is a very good show. Street is closed off for about 10 blocks.

I'm also planning a dyno day, bbq after, and some beer to cry in as the eddy current Mustang dyno brings some reality into you internet racers...
A Saturday in August?

Good to meet you Steve!

Got a couple pics. Several are similar to yours but her are two that indicate a man who's got 99a on his mind, despite drivinga(very nice) Mini.
