yeah some mini lights (as opposed to mini lites). The rule is that they can't be mounted above the base of the windshield.
Somewhere on one of the internets there is a photo of my car with the "praying mantis" light setup that came on the car before I built this one
and it looked really close
Speaking of close...
Edit:
PS: LITTLE BUNNY FOO FOO LIGHTS

that all depends on how the "jump" is set up. Alot of guys didn't realize the attitude of the launch was different, more of a jump, apparently it used to be a flat shot onto the water. Either way, stock air box with snorkel is what we'll be needing.max wrote:yeah but remember how badly the cars nose into the water on the STPR creek crossing?

that is very nice to hear. How does she sound? I'm sure it's a sweet sweet melody just like the first time we fired that puppy up with the standalone.

Oh it sounds so sweet to hear it running nice and smoothly again. Josh and Jeremy came by and before we even knew it the thing was was running, and that was with a pretty long pizza break too. It came together really quicky. Went for a quick drive very carefully and the TPS issue is still there so I will have to fix that but otherwise everything seems fine. Also the oil cooler is bypassed because I can't get all the accumulated bearing particles out of it to my satisfaction. I flushed it in the parts washers for several hours and it still sounds like sand inside so I will have to get a new one.

was it a stock oil cooler? maybe we could find a bigger replacement to get better cooling. (though I don't know if cooling the oil is an issue.)

Well I guess techically there isnt a "stock" oil cooler for a 75 99, but this one was a large volvo turbo one modifed with AN fittings welded on. I think it was a nice size for the task I would like to find a better location for it though since I don't like having it right in front of the intercooler.
